One Piece's The Elbaf arc continues at a brisk pace. The biggest flashback of the entire story was recently wrapped up, and over the course of the last three chapters the story has been slowly building towards the main conflict of the arc. It's only a matter of time before this exciting conflict explodes and the intensity in this arc goes through the roof.
One piece Chapter 1174 saw the return of Luffy and Loki to the front lines, but before the main battles of the arc begin, the series will have to go on hiatus. As such, One Piece Chapter 1175 has officially received a new release date that fans are already eagerly anticipating.
One Piece Chapter 1175 has been delayed due to Oda's Break
The new break comes after a series of three chapters
One piece Chapter 1175 has been officially postponed due to an interruption from the authorEiichiro Oda. This hiatus was officially announced in the recent issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, which was released on February 15, 2026. This hiatus should not come as a surprise to any fan of the series. Oda often drops three chapters in a row and then goes on hiatus. The author uses this break to plan things ahead and mainly to rest.
Oda has been drawing manga for over 28 years, and as such, he's not exactly at his best. Mangaka often only sleep three hours a day and their working hours are incredibly exhausting. Oda taking more frequent breaks the older he gets and the worse his health gets makes sense. Oda should take breaks more often, but to give the fans an exciting story, he keeps the breaks to a minimum. Currently, the release schedule for One Piece is three chapters followed by a break, which means that every month fans will get at least three chapters of One Piece.
One Piece Chapter 1175 will be released on March 1, 2026
One Piece has finished its three chapter run with Chapter 1174, which means it will be two weeks before One Piece Chapter 1175 officially drops. The next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will not contain a One Piece chapter and the manga will officially return on March 1, 2026. This also means that there will be no One Piece in February, and Chapter 1175, which will most certainly start the battle between Luffy and Loki against Ima, will drop at the beginning of the new month.
From then on, One Piece will most certainly go on another three-chapter run. In other words, fans should enjoy One Piece chapters 1175, 1176, and 1177 without interruption unless something unusual happens. Oda has a habit of drawing at least three chapters in a row, but sometimes when his health is not so good, Oda may take a break after two chapters.
Luffy and Loki vs Imu finally begin
WITH One piece Chapter 1175, which will make its grand return on March 1, 2026, will finally begin the biggest battle in the entire series. In the Elbaf Arc, the greatest enemy of the entire series was introduced in the form of Imu, the Sovereign of the World. It was almost unbelievable to see an enemy with such power present itself in Elbaf, and now Luffy and Loki had to stop them. This arc is going to be chaotic from here on out and fans are going to witness some of the best battles with an intensity that has never been seen before. One piece.
A huge beast covers the sky…and the Sun God appears! — Elder Jarul
Oda already promised to end it with a big bang in the Elbaf arc, and One Piece is heading even deeper into its end phase after the conclusion of that arc. In this sense, the upcoming chapter will be especially important as it marks the beginning of the end of this arc. One Piece fans eagerly await the return of the manga, while Elbaf awaits his dawn. In this already great story arc moving forward, things are sure to get a lot more exciting.
