Devil Fruits are a primary energy system One piece world. Known as a mystical fruit that grants tremendous powers, the Devil Fruit has become increasingly important in the story, and the final saga made sure to introduce even more powerful powers to fans. Devil Fruits can generally be divided into three types and they are Paramecia which allow transformation into various things that exist in nature, Zoans which allow transformation into various types of animals, and of course Logias which allow transformation into elements and forces of nature.

Quite clearly, the Devil Fruits are greatly overpowered. It is because of the immense power they offer that one can only have one ability at a time. It was stated long ago in One piece that most Devil Fruit users can only hold on to one power. This is because if a person becomes greedy and consumes more than one devil fruit power, the devils inside their bodies will fight it and their bodies will eventually explode. There is only one exception to this rule, and that is Blackbeard, who somehow managed to eat two Devil Fruits.. However, Oda introduced fans to another character with two Devil Fruit abilities, and that is none other than the Cursed Prince of Elbaf, Loki..

Blackbeard was the first One piece character to eat two Devil Fruits and he did it in a quite shocking way. His first Devil Fruit was revealed to fans during his battle against Ace. In this fight, Blackbeard revealed that after killing Thatch, the commander of the fourth division of the Whitebeard Pirates, won by Yami Yami No Mi. With this incredible power, Blackbeard was able to control darkness itself as well as Infinite Gravity.
Later, when Blackbeard infiltrated Marineford, gained Whitebeard's power. After Whitebeard's death, he stole his Devil Fruit and obtained the strongest Paramecia that existed, i.e. Gura Gura no Mi. With his Devil Fruit, Blackbeard could cause earthquakes from land, sea, and air. Blackbeard's overall strength reached an incredibly high level after he ate two Devil Fruitsand it's part of what makes him incredibly special as a pirate.
While Blackbeard is the only one to eat two Devil Fruits, There is another character in One Piece who can now use two Devil Fruit abilities, and that is none other than Cursed Prince Loki.. When Loki was first introduced, fans didn't know much about his abilities, but now it's clear that he wields Ragnir just like Elbaf's legendary Devil Fruit.

Loki is the son of King Harald of Elbaf. This alone gives him the blood of the conqueror and makes him extremely strong. He also has giant Ancient Blood running through his veins, which in other words means he is even stronger than the average giant. Apparently, Loki was born with some tremendous powers, but later gained even greater powers.

His first powerful ability is Ragnir, the legendary Elbaf hammer that no one can wield. Afterwards, Loki gained the power of the legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf, and together the two form Loki's two Devil Fruit abilities.

Loki's first Devil Fruit ability comes via his hammer, Ragnir. For the longest time, fans thought that Ragnir was just an ordinary hammer. In One Piece Chapter 1170, it was officially confirmed that Ragnir is actually the hammer that consumed the Devil Fruit ability. As was clearly seen, Loki's Ragnir can transform into a squirrel, and of course Loki can use this devil fruit as he pleases.
One Piece: Oda reveals Shamrock's Overpowered Devil Fruit in Elbaf
The power wielded by the Figarland Shamrock is revealed. His abilities will be amazing to see in One Piece.
It can be said that Loki's Ragnir is more similar to Shamrock's sword. Just as Shamrock can transform his blade into Cerberus, Loki can transform Ragnir into Ratatoskr. Ragnir is tremendously powerful and quite easily a monster that can defeat the vast majority of individuals in the One Piece world.
Loki ate Elbaf's legendary devil fruit
Loki's second and main Devil Fruit ability comes from the treasure of Elbaf. This Devil Fruit ability has been passed down in the land of Elbaf for centuries and no one but Loki has been able to eat it. This is because Ragnir guarded this Devil Fruit heavily, and even Harald, who was on the same level as Rocks, was unable to eat it in the past. Loki was the only one who could eat it, and it gave him enough strength to defeat even Harald in battle.

The true form of this Devil Fruit remains unknown as of yet, but it is quite clearly a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit with enough power to overpower anyone.. Loki is quite easily on par with the legends of the One Piece worldsuch as Harald, Rocks, Roger and even Garp. With Ragnir and the legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf, Loki clearly has two powerful abilities at his disposal.
Shamrock Figarland could also have two devil fruit abilities
Oda seems to be setting a new trend of powerful individuals having more than one Devil Fruit ability at their disposal. Loki is the first of his kind, but another individual who could use a similar kind of power is Shamrock. Fans have already seen Shamrock use his Cerberus sword in battle. His sword is either enchanted by Imu or has been fed a devil fruit that allows him to transform into an awakened Cerberus at will.
However, Shamrock could also have a Devil Fruit ability himself. All of the Saint Knights that fans have seen so far have Devil Fruit abilities at their disposal in one way or another. Shamrock also having a devil fruit is not out of the question yet. It's possible that like Loki, Shamrock has a Devil Fruit weapon and a Devil Fruit, which would make him a monstrously powerful individual.
It's only a matter of time before this new fighter class with two Devil Fruit abilities becomes the standard in One Piece among the top tiers, and Oda is sure to make it very exciting as the story moves forward.
