Eiichiro Oda One piece is the best-selling manga worldwide and by far. One Piece dominates the industry in terms of overall numbers, but in recent years it would seem that sales have been declining. One piece fell short of expectations, being beaten by newer series such as Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer.
However, One Piece volume 113, the latest volume of the seriesproved why again One piece he is the king of manga. In just one week, One Piece Volume 113 has sold more than 600 thousand copieswhich is the highest of the entire week, and a step up from One Piece volume 112. Fans are definitely impressed and hope that the sales of the series will return to what they were a few years ago.
One Piece 113 dominates the top 10 weekly Oricon charts
Oricon's Weekly Chart Top 10 for the dates from November 3rd to November 9th has finally been revealed, and as expected, One Piece dominates it. When the latest volume of One Piece hit the market, it was charted and it's safe to say that the numbers were very impressive.
In just one week, One Piece volume 113 managed to accumulate almost 620 thousand on sale, which is quite impressive. This number will only grow, and at this rate this volume will most certainly cross the one million mark.
One Piece's numbers are even more impressive compared to how other series performed this week. The second highest entry was Chainsaw Man and only achieved 90k additional sales. Of course, Chainsaw Man doesn't have a new volume this month, but in October he reduced his volume and its hot movie release, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arcdefinitely increases backlog. All other series besides Chainsaw Man, which include Kingdom, SpyxFamily, and Demon Slayer, don't even break the 60k mark.
Single unit sales recover with volume 113
In the past few years, there has been growing concern among fans about the sale of the One Piece series. For several volumes, sales are now significantly lower than before. Since this is One Piece, sales were still much higher than the average series, but just not as good as a few years ago.
fortunately the Elbaf Arch seems to have brought some revival. While One Piece volume 112 only sold 540,000 in its first week, One Piece 113 had almost 100,000 more, which is a big step up. This shows how invested fans have become in Elbaf's latest Ode arc, as well as growing fan interest in the final saga. Fans are hoping that One Piece will once again peak with sales similar to Marineford.
