Overwatch 2 just introduced a new character with Vishkar named Domina who has all the makings of a playable hero. With a unique design, alias, and voice actor, there's a good chance that Domina could be the third new one Overwatch 2 hero comes into play this year.
Recently, Blizzard revealed the schedule for a bunch of demos for their various games. Overwatch 2Dubbed Overwatch Spotlight, the broadcast itself takes place on February 4th at 10am PT and promises huge reveals, gameplay updates and more.

Domino – Overwatch 2's New Vishkar and Talon-Aligned Hero?
Now, before this show, Overwatch 2 teased what could be a brand new playable character. Blizzard just shared “The Upper Hand,” a short story in which Vendetta talks to Vaira Singhania, the new VP of Operations and Development at Vishkar Corporation. The daughter of the infamous organization in Overwatch 2 with ties to Lifeweaver and Symmetra, they traded hidden threats with the Rising Star Talon, eventually leading to a deal and allowing the Vendetta to add another powerful weapon and ally to its arsenal.
However, there may be more to Singhania than meets the eye. Vendetta voice actress Chiara Preziosi read the dialogue from this story in a Story Time video, but she didn't do it herself. British actress Taj Atwal provided the voice of Singhania, and the YouTube credits identify executive Vishkar as “Domina”, a title that sounds a lot like Overwatch 2 hero name
The full story for “The Upper Hand” goes into more detail about Domino, including that she has “a pair of well-designed robotic arms” in addition to her biological arms. Between these descriptions, the use of Symmetra-like hard light technology, and flashes of her in the story's artwork, it wouldn't be hard to imagine Domino as the new hero in Overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 is gearing up for something huge
This is the third new hero Overwatch 2 he teased over the past few weeks. The first was Anran Ye, Wuyang's older sister, who was the subject of another short story called “The Invitation” and had datamined final voice lines that appeared to be from her. The second was Emre Sarioglu, who appeared in the “Search & Destroy” comic with a shocking new design after chasing the edges Overwatch a tradition of almost ten years. All of these characters have unique weapons, designs, abilities, and voice actors, strongly hinting that these could be the three heroes coming this year.
In addition, Overwatch 2 also recently released another Story Time comic featuring Vendetta and Maximilien, the infamous Talon manager. The two reach an agreement at the end of Vendetta's Palatine Fang, with Omnik passing on critical information about Talon. Vendetta moves in Overwatch 2and Blizzard isn't shy about expanding it.
All of this leads up to the Overwatch Spotlight event. While fans don't know exactly what will be revealed during the showcase, there's a good chance they'll see a general outline of what to expect throughout the year. At least three new heroes are expected — potentially Anran, Emre, and Domina — though some wonder if Blizzard could surprise players even more. Plus, the rumored cinematic showdown between Vendetta and Doomfist Overwatch 2 could be revealed, as well as a likely Talon-themed 21st season starting on February 21st.
Interestingly, Overwatch Spotlight dropped the “2” from its title, as did a recent update to the Steam product page. This could match the rumors from last year, right Overwatch 2 was considering a rebranding that would remove the sequel number, or it could indicate that Blizzard is unveiling something else in the franchise besides updates for the heroic shooter. Either way, February 4th is going to be a big day Overwatch 2 fans.
