Overwatch 2 brings Avatar: The Last Airbender Collab

Avatar: The Last Airbender is back Overwatch 2which brings a second chance to unlock his six character skins: Aang Zenyatta, Appa Orisa, Katara Mei, Toph Venture, Suki Kiriko and Zuko Genji. From now until December 29th, fans can complete in-game challenges to earn Katara Mei or purchase more Avatar: The Last Airbender skin from Overwatch 2 cash register.

On December 17, 2024 Overwatch 2 started an Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration as part of the 14th season. This crossover featured four legendary and two epic skins that transformed members Overwatch 2 list to Avatar Aang and some of his closest allies.

The new shooter looks like a wild mix of Concorde, Overwatch and Paladins and is being made by ex-Titanfall and Apex Legends developers

The brand new shooter revealed at The Game Awards 2025 is giving off serious Overwatch and Concord vibes.

Overwatch 2 x Avatar: The Last Airbender Returns

Now, almost exactly a year later, Avatar: The Last Airbender cooperation returned to Overwatch 2. Until December 30th, players can purchase these five incredibles Avatar: The Last Airbender skin from Overwatch 2 cash shop again, giving fans a second chance to get them before they go away indefinitely. Each skin can be purchased individually for 1900 Overwatch Coins (1000 for Suki Kiriko), in a character pack that includes their corresponding Highlight Intro, Emotes and other customizations for 2600 (2200 for Kiriko), or all together in a Mega Bundle for 5700 Overwatch Coins.

If that wasn't enough, Overwatch 2 also brought back Avatar: The Last Airbender challenges in the game, which means players also have another chance to get Katara Mei's skin and the corresponding Waterbending emote for free. By playing games, dealing and healing damage, getting eliminations and assists, and using ultimates, fans can progress through these challenges to earn this skin and more Avatar: The Last Airbender-themed cosmetics, including a souvenir, name tag, Cabbage Merchant title, several weapon charms and voice lines, and 30,000 Battle Pass XP.

Unfortunately, unlike the replay Overwatch 2 x My Hero Academia a crossover event that added brand new skins in the form of Garou Wuyang and Hellish Blizzard Ashe, the second Avatar: The Last Airbender collab has no new content. Players who were hoping to get some new skins for the missing ones Avatar: The Last Airbender characters like Sokka or Azula or see heroes released this year like Freja or Wuyang AtLA treatment, will have to wait whether Overwatch 2 sometimes he makes a proper continuation of the collaboration. That said, it at least brought back the challenges in the game, as opposed to bringing the game back Transformers crossover.

While working on these Avatar: The Last Airbender Challenges, players can also continue during the Winter Wonderland event Overwatch 2 Season 20 too. Until January 6th, fans can earn Winter Wonderland Cookies by completing daily challenges or special tasks associated with Winter Wonderland game modes such as Mei's Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt or Mischief & Magic, which can then be spent on three different rewards that reward cosmetics, loot boxes or Battle Pass Tier Skips. What's more, on December 23rd, Mischief & Magic will receive a Winter Wonderland makeover, in which Kiriko will gain special abilities based on her current disguise. In addition, players can also earn the Soldier 67 emote, which is behind the meme, by playing 20 games this week.
