Overwatch 2 recently unveiled a slew of new skin concepts in a recent survey, including cosmetics inspired by fruit, playing cards and the seven deadly sins. While there is no guarantee that these skins will be officially made based on this concept, there is a chance Overwatch 2 they could see them coming sometime in the future.
Several times a year, Overwatch 2 sends out surveys to select fans that feature concept art for dozens of different hero skins. Some of these ideas, such as the Floral Dreams skins released in Overwatch 2 Season 18 originally appeared in these surveys before it made it to the official game.

While many of these skins are incredible, fans have been complaining about these particular offerings because of the heroes chosen for the skins. Mercy and Kiriko, both famous for having more skins than most other heroes Overwatch 2each appearing four times on this list, with Sombra close behind with three. Meanwhile, other heroes were lucky to get a draft or two, while others missed out entirely. This is especially confusing for characters like Moira or Lucio, who would fit perfectly with the deadly sins and street skater themes.
When could Overwatch 2 release these skins?
It's important to point out that while this is official concept art, there's no guarantee that these skins will make it Overwatch 2 correctly. Although dozens of skins that first appeared in them Overwatch 2 polls have become reality since their launch in December 2023, many others have not. When they do appear, there are modifications or exclusions from these lists so often that players should expect them to look different from the draft if they are made. Furthermore, whenever they do make these jumps, it usually doesn't happen until nine months later, though more often than not it takes a year or more.
This means that the earliest fans could see some of the skins from this survey is in late 2026, potentially in Overwatch 2 Season 25 or 26. Still, players shouldn't get their hopes up, as none of the skins from last year's three surveys have appeared, so concepts from those would probably have to start arriving before any of these new ones.
either way Overwatch 2 Season 21 starts on February 10th and brings a whole new selection of skins to the game. This will include at least one Mythic skin – but given Overwatch 2 Season 19 and 20 are two mythic seasons, so there could be two such customizable cosmetics for heroes in season 21. Players haven't seen an exploration skin added to the game since Season 18, so it wouldn't be surprising to see one appear in the Battle Pass or purchase soon. There also hasn't been a new collaboration since the same season, so fans will have to wait and see if Overwatch 2 will kick off the year 2026 crossover event.
