Since dropping the '2' from the name, Overwatch rebranding brought a lot of new and returning players to Blizzard's iconic hero shooter. Featuring five brand new heroes, the Reign of Talon story arc, and the return of a fan favorite Loverwatch players have more to discover and unlock even more rewards. Due to various server errors and inconsistencies during the first week of the Talon x Overwatch event, many players had difficulty completing challenges and receiving rewards. As compensation, Blizzard released all but two rewards from both factions to eligible players Prestige Passes. But what exactly are passports? What is Prestige Pass in Overwatch?
S1: Conquest
Talon x Overwatch is a five-week event that asks players to join one of two competing factions and rewards them for completing challenges. Each faction has unique rewards, including player icons, voice lines, and weapon enchantments. Similar to the Battle Pass, rewards are earned gradually as players earn Notoriety Points for completing daily and weekly challenges.
Once the initial Faction Pass is completed and all rewards are earned, players have the option to switch factions and receive the appropriate rewards, or stay with their current faction and advance to their Prestige Pass. AND Prestige Pass is simply another phase of rewards for sticking to your chosen faction, which contains four normal loot boxes and one epic or legendary loot box.
Basically, when Blizzard says it's rewarding players with two Prestige Passes, that's a fancy way of saying “free loot boxes.”
Whether you're Team Talon or Team Overwatch, you're likely progressing through your first natural Prestige Pass if you've already earned the initial rewards and stuck with the same faction.
All compensation rewards awarded in Overwatch
All players who completed at least one event challenge in the first week of the Talon x Overwatch event are eligible for comp rewards. All rewards are also additive, meaning players who were able to get loot boxes from the previous week's Prestige Pass will still get additional loot boxes to compensate. However, it may take a few days for all players to receive their rewards.
In total, eligible players will receive the following rewards:

Moreover, according to the official Overwatch announcement from Blizzard, will lower the pass completion requirements for Legendary Faction titles in response to players not being able to pass during a server outage. This change is planned during the seasonal Midcycle Patch.
