Pokemon Go just confirmed that Scorbunny will be her Community Pokemon for Saturday March 14th, 2026. On this day Pokemon Go players will encounter Scorbunny much more frequently in the wild and have limited-time access to a number of unique rewards and Field Research tasks.
For those not in the loop, Pokemon Go Community Days are a monthly global event that makes it easier to catch one particular Pokémon for a few hours. When the chosen Pokemon or one closely related to it is caught or evolved during this time frame, it will often learn a special move. Unique bonuses that change with each event are also given to players, such as increased XP gain or increased Shiny rate. Pokemon Go has been hosting Community Days since January 18, 2018 and rarely misses a month, even during a global pandemic.

On Saturday 14th March 2026 from 14:00 to 17:00 local time, Scorbunny will take center stage as Pokemon GoPokemon for community day. This means that between 14:00 and 17:00, Scorbunny will appear more often, as well as Shiny Scorbunny and Scorbunny with a special background. Between 14:00 and 21:00 on March 14th, any PokeStop with a Lure Module attached will have an increased chance to attract all Scorbunny variants.

During March 14 Pokemon GO Community Day and up to four hours after the start of the event, players will be able to get Pokemon with a special move. Evolving Raboot during this time frame will grant players Cinderace with Charged Attack Blast Burn. Starting with the event, Pokemon Go players will also be able to teach their Cinderace the new Charged Attack Pyro Ball move, which will have 75 Power during trainer battles and 150 Power during gym battles and raids, according to the event's official announcement.
As usual those who want even more Pokemon GoOn Community Day in March, you will be able to purchase a special research ticket for $1.99. This ticket will give players access to a number of Community Day themed quests. Completing these quests will reward players with three guaranteed Scorbunny encounters with a special background, one Premium Battle Pass, and one Rare Candy XL. Of course, those who don't purchase the special research ticket will still have access to a number of themed Field Research quests that will reward them with ultraballs, stardust, and other items.
Participation in Pokemon GoThe next Community Day will also give all players access to the following limited-time bonuses:

1/4 Egg hatching distance when eggs are placed in the incubator during the event period.

2x chance for Trainers level 31 and above to get Candy XL from catching Pokemon.

Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.

Lure pods will last for one hour and can attract select Pokemon.

One additional special trade can be made for a maximum of two per day.

Shops will require 50% less Stardust.
A basic aspect Pokemon Go's Community Days are of course the social side of the game. These events were designed specifically so that the guy Pokemon Go fans could meet in central locations and enjoy the hobby together. in that spirit Pokemon Go created a Community Day map that marks local areas that have historically been popular gathering places for players. Community Ambassadors who work closely with Niantic will also flag any major events happening in the area in person.
