Pokemon GO Reveals January 2026 GO Pass Rewards

Pokemon Go has revealed the rewards players can claim for purchasing the January 2026 GO Pass, with Dialga as the main Pokemon. The massively popular mobile game based on the monster hunting franchise has given fans plenty of excitement during the closing months of 2025. Pokemon Go kicked off the first part of its Winter Break event on December 18, featuring new festive variants of Pokemon like Sudowoodo and Charjabug, along with boosted spawns for some snowy Pokemon. However, even with the launch of the holiday event, developer Scopely is already looking ahead to what's to come in 2026.

As Pokemon Go concludes in 2025, the mobile game has already started teasing fans with some of its plans for the next calendar year. Scopely has already confirmed the next release of the popular game Pokemon Go Tour event with GO Tour: Kalos to be held in cities around the world in February. The popular GO Fest will also return later in 2026, with Pokemon Gothe biggest celebrations of the year planned for June in the United States, Germany and Japan. Now, Pokemon Go is gearing up to kick off 2026 with its first premium GO Pass of the year.

The January GO Pass will feature a special encounter with one of the franchise's most iconic Legendary Pokemon, giving fans the chance to catch Dialga with the option of a shiny version. GO Pass Deluxe also rewards fans with a special, highly sought-after item as a reward, with the Lucky Trinket used to turn one in-game friend into a lucky friend. Pokemon GoThe January 2026 GO Pass will be released on January 6th at 10:00am local time and will be available until February 3rd at 10:00am local time.

Pokemon GoThe latest GO Pass will bring fans plenty of rewards beyond the featured Pokemon. Fans who purchase the GO Pass will benefit from Stardust, XP and Max Particles boosts earned during the month of January. GO Pass Deluxe will give players a super incubator and other premium items such as premium battle passes, incense and bait pods among others. The January GO Pass will also include even more level-specific upgrades, increasing gift limits at level 25, doubling the duration of Daily Adventure Incense at level 50, and providing additional raid rewards at level 75.

Winter Holiday Field Research Quests and Rewards Part 1 in Pokemon GO

Pokemon Go should give fans plenty of chances to quickly rack up levels on their GO Pass during January. Scopely has already revealed two Community Day events to take place during January, with Piplup appearing on January 4th and Grookey on January 18th. Pokemon Go also revealed a special event to usher in the new year, featuring New Year's variants of costumed Pokemon such as Pikachu, Hoothoot, and Jigglypuff. Scopely even teased a new Pokémon coming to the game in January with the Pinch Perfect event, which features the ninth-generation Pokémon Klawf alongside a shiny variant of Dhelmis.

For Pokemon Goduring the holiday festivities, Scopely has given fans some interesting changes to the game over the past few months. Pokemon Go officially introduced their “Forever Friends” status and finally added the ability for fans to Remote Trade through the newly added friendship level. A brand new research event also gives fans a chance to pick up one of the most elusive items in the game, with players once again able to obtain the Master Ball through Masterwork Research: A Precious Catch. Pokemon Go Players should have a lot to look forward to as the mobile game enters 2026.
