Pokemon Go announced the debut of Gigantamax Kingler on February 1st. Pokemon Go players received one of the most eagerly awaited updates, finally adding Dynamax and Gigantamax forms. Since then, the developers have gradually expanded the list of these variants available in the game.
Gigantamax is a type of Dynamax that not only increases a Pokemon's size and strength, but also changes its appearance and grants exclusive abilities called G-Max Moves. While there are 32 pocket monsters capable of Gigantamaxing in the main series games, there are only six in Niantic's game, with the addition of Gigantamax Lapras. Pokemon Go be the latest. However, this list is about to expand after the developers confirmed a new event starting in the coming weeks.

Gigantamax Kingler will debut in Pokemon Go February 1st in the upcoming Max Battle Day. During the event, players can collect up to 1600 Max Particles, an item needed to play the game Pokemon GoMax Battles. All Power Spots will host Gigantamax battles, refresh more often, and give 8x more particles. From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on February 1st, players will earn double the amount of particles for exploration and travel a quarter of the distance to earn Max Particles. A $5 ticket will give 1 Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP, double XP from Max Battles, and increase the Max Particle collection limit to 5,600. The $7.99 box with six particle packs will be sold on the Pokemon GO Web Store.
Max Battle Day is one of February's events, but it's not the first confirmed for next month. Niantic recently revealed the Lunar New Year event, which will start on January 29th and end on February 1st. While the Gigantamax Kingler won't be debuting in the augmented reality game, players can look forward to more exciting events. One of them will be the return of Shadow Ho-Oh in Shadow Raid Day on January 19th, with other Galar Pokémon. Pokemon Go in the next few days.
