When it came out Pokemon Legends: ZA will be set exclusively in Lumiose City, fans naturally assumed that Clemont and Bonnie would appear in the game. Unfortunately, that never came to pass.

Between X and Y and Legends: ZAQuasartico Inc. closed Prism Tower to renovate it, forcing Clemont and Bonnie to leave their home. The NPC mentions a genius inventor and his sister who both held quizzes and pokemon battles in the tower, so at least the residents of Lumiose still fondly remember them.
