It may not be immediately obvious from the name, but Pokemon Legends: ZA is actually a sequel Pokemon X and Ywhich is a curious distinction that it shares with very few other major lines Pokemon records (such as Black 2 and White 2). This recently released title takes place five years after the events of Generation Six's debut, and as a result features many of its most recognizable and beloved characters also playing an important role in the latest story.
Needless to say, being able to meet the likes of Emma, AZ, and many others after so many years is incredibly nostalgic—especially for avid fans of the Kalos region—but Pokemon Legends: ZA it also hides some shocking and interesting twists that come with it Pokemon X and Yclassic plot. From the whereabouts of other characters to the secrets hidden in Lumiose City, here they are the most amazing facts about the Kalos region revealed in Pokemon Legends: ZA.
AZ is back
This 3,000-year-old legend now runs his own hotel
AZ is definitely one of the Pokemon X and Ythe most amazing characters. After all, he is a 3,000-year-old immortal who used to be the King of Kalos and is directly responsible for creating the Ultimate Weapon that Lysandre tried (and failed) to use during the climax of this game. Plus everyone Pokemon the fan remembers the heartbreaking final scene where AZ is finally reunited with her Eternal Flower Floette.
Pokemon Legends: ZA it not only reveals that AZ is still alive, but also plays an important role in the story. He is the owner of Hotel Z, where he lives with his Floette, and is basically the mentor of the MZ team. Seeing AZ living a peaceful life after all he's been through X and Y is very satisfying, but it is slowly revealed that he still has many dark secrets and that he may have one more final role Legends: ZA's engaging narrative.
The new Pokemon professor
Sycamore was replaced by Mable, of Team Flare Fame
Augustine Sycamore is a pokemon professor in the Kalos region. It researches Mega Evolution and gives the player one of the Kanto starters Pokemon X and Y. Since his lab was located in Lumiose City, some players may feel tempted to visit him, only to find that someone new has taken his place.
it's like this: Mableone of Team Flare's former scientists, replaced Sycamor as director of the Pokémon Research Lab. She even mentions that she agreed to take the position as part of a plea deal to avoid jail after the events X and Y. As for Sycamore, she is nowhere to be found throughout the entire campaign Legends: ZAbut some of his photos can be found hanging in the lab. Additionally, the NPC mentions that Sycamore and Trevor (one of the rivals from the previous game) are doing research together in another region.
She is the new lead detective of the Looker Bureau
Some Pokemon X and Y the players may not have known Emma's existence because it's the star of a side quest that's easy to miss. She was an orphan living on the streets of Lumiose City who was manipulated by Flare's Xerosic team and with some help from the player she was rescued by Looker who basically adopted her and allowed her to live with him in the Looker Bureau.
Pokemon Legends: ZA takes place five years after the events X and Ywhich means that Emma is now twenty-one years old. Plus, she's become a full-fledged detective and made the Looker Bureau her own office, which is really nice to see after all she went through in the last game. Looker itself is completely missing here Legends: ZA (even though Emma has a picture of him on her desk), but seasoned Pokemon fans are fully aware of the fact that he made it to the Alola region where he works alongside Anabel.
Lysandre is alive
The main villain of Pokémon X and Y has taken on a new identity
Some Pokemon antagonists are extremely memorable and others are very forgettable.,Unfortunately, Lysander, from Pokemon X and Y, for many years she belonged to the second group. While he has a notable design, his motivations, actions, and personality were very generic, especially compared to other villains in the series. The only thing most players remember about him is the fact that he was seemingly killed by an ultimate weapon that he tried to detonate during X and Yculmination.
However, at one point Legends: ZAthe player meets a mysterious man who doesn't remember who he really is, so he just walks around L. That's right, this is Lysandre with amnesia, and the game later reveals that he survived the events X and Y after being rescued by Zygarde. Now he has dedicated his life to helping the heroic legendary Pokemon. Lysandre's redemption arc is extremely unexpected, but it's also very well done and adds some much needed depth to this once forgettable story. Pokemon rascal.
Team Flare still exists
The sudden rise of Team Flare Nouveau
Like his leader Lysander, Team Flare has always been considered one of the least interesting evil teams in history Pokemon franchise. Fortunately, Pokemon Legends: ZA reveals a lot of fascinating information about this organization, including its origins, influence and even the whereabouts of some of its members.
Team Flare was originally supposed to be a place for people to help the less fortunate, and many lives were improved by their actions (like Corbeau) until Lysandre's delusions about Xerne, Yveltal, and the Ultimate Weapon led them astray. Shortly after the events of X and Ycreated by Grisham, Griselle and a bunch of young officers Team Flare Nouveaua secret new branch of the organization that is trying to continue its original purpose while trying to repair its tarnished reputation. Despite their aggressive nature, the members of Team Flare Nouveau are not evil and even help the player on a few occasions, which is definitely an interesting and creative direction to take this plot thread.
Clemont and Bonnie left the prism tower
The gym leader in Lumiose City was forced to leave his gym
Clemont is the Electric-type Gym Leader of Lumiose City and his gym is located on top of the city's main attraction, the Prism Tower. However, most fans probably remember him and his little sister, Bonniedue to their role as two companions of Ash Ketchum v Pokemon series: XY. When it came out Pokemon Legends: ZA will be set exclusively in Lumiose City, fans naturally assumed that Clemont and Bonnie would appear in the game. Unfortunately, that never came to pass.
Between X and Y and Legends: ZAQuasartico Inc. closed Prism Tower to renovate it, forcing Clemont and Bonnie to leave their home. The NPC mentions a genius inventor and his sister who both held quizzes and pokemon battles in the tower, so at least the residents of Lumiose still fondly remember them. Hopefully both Clemont and Bonnie will appear in the upcoming one Mega size DLC.
Diantha Focuses On Her Acting Career
The champion doesn't seem interested in battles anymore
IN Pokemon Legends: ZAAZ and the members of Team MZ are searching for the Strongest Mega Evolution Trainer, who can theoretically stop the mysterious force that resides in the Prism Tower. While this role is clearly intended to go to the main character, many fans can't help but wonder: what Diantha? After all, the champion of the Kalos region is a powerful trainer with Mega Gardevoir on her team, so it's strange that she didn't show up to help Lumiose City during its latest crisis.
It's important to note that Diantha is not only a Pokémon champion, but also a world-renowned actress. Various posters advertising her latest film can be found throughout the city, and the NPC even states that she is now focusing on her film career, so the most reasonable explanation for her absence is that she is so busy that she can no longer focus on her duties as a champion. Still, he's still a popular character whose absence is a bit disappointing, so hopefully he can make another appearance in the future Pokemon game and/or in the upcoming DLC expansion for Legends: ZA.
Inside the Prism Tower is another ancient weapon
The ultimate weapon wasn't enough for AZ, so he created Ange
Even if Prismatic tower is Lumiose City's largest and most iconic landmark, it is completely inaccessible to players, not least because Quasartico Inc. closed for renovations, but also because something inside it is dissipating the Mega Power and causing wild Pokemon all over the city to suddenly Mega Evolve. Fortunately, the truth is eventually revealed to the player in the final act Legends: ZA: Two thousand years in the past, AZ created another ancient weapon called the Ange and placed her in the Prism Tower.
Ange is the star of one of the most breathtaking, memorable and exciting final boss fights in history Pokemon franchise. The main character must join forces with Zygarde, Taunie/Urban, and Eternal Flower Floette to fight this massive machine-monster hybrid and end its destructive rampage. Due to Ange's existence, the Prism Tower itself plays a huge role in the story Legends: ZAwhich is quite exciting to think about. Unfortunately, AZ dies shortly after Ange is defeated, making her one of the few human characters in the Pokemon the entry dies during the story, not to mention the player visits his tombstone after the credits.
