Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have announced that a new Seven-Star Tera Raid will take place in early November, pitting trainers against Feraligatr the Unrivaled. The upcoming Seven-Star Tera Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet it will follow events that have seen other Pokemon like Gengar take the spotlight instead.

Feraligatr, known as the Big Jaw Pokémon, first appeared in Pokemon Gold and Silverr as the water-type starter of the Johto region. Feraligatr evolves from Tototile and Croconaw starting at level 30, making it the only Starter Pokémon capable of fully evolving at this level. According to Serebii.net, the upcoming Seven-Star Tera Raid against Feraligatr the Unrivaled will begin on Thursday, October 31 at 8:00 PM ET and end on Sunday, November 3 at 7:59 PM ET. Pokemon trainers who miss the first round of the event will get another chance to catch the Big Jaw Pokémon next weekend, November 7-10. Like its predecessors, Feraligatr Unrivaled will award the most powerful mark to Pokemon teams that defeat it. Although Feraligatr is usually a Water-type Pokemon, the upcoming Tera Raid boss will have a Dark-type as a Tera-type.

Feraligatr the Unrivaled will have a hidden ability called Sheer Force to boost some of his attacks. Status moves like Swords Dance, Curse, and Rain Dance can appear in Feraligatr's arsenal. Although Dark-type Pokemon are useful in competitive battles, Feraligatr the Unrivaled will be vulnerable to Fighting, Fairy, and Bug-type moves.


Depending on the moves that Feraligatr Unrivaled will have, strong Fairy-type Pokémon like Sylveon or Tinkaton could come in handy in the upcoming battle. What strategies Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will form, it remains to be seen.
