While keeping the island looking nice may be an altruistic goal, watering every bit of grass is time that doesn't pay off in the long run. Many habitats in Pokemon Pokepiawhich are necessary to attract specific Pokémon to the island, require certain plant life, including grass and flowers in their recipes. Using the water gun move can be useful to create these environments, but it's not necessary to do it everywhere, as some fans have pointed out that rain is a natural occurrence as you progress through the game and will do much of the watering for them. Many fans found this out the hard way as they shared online that they spent hours watering every corner of the map, only to have nature come and effortlessly repeat all their extra work.
Watering all the grass is not only a waste of time, but a harmful move for players trying to attract all the Pokemon in the game. The only way to get dry tall grass is to create it with Leafage on any patch that hasn't been watered yet, or by waiting for other grass that is exposed to direct sunlight or placed under shelter to lose moisture, so players watering every available patch can take more work if they still don't have Onix.
If waterlogged players have trouble finding four dry spots together, they can always use the Rototiller skill to move dry tall grass, transplant it, or add to their inventory. Conversely, players who desire a wetter environment can also force a localized storm after unlocking the Rain Dance Site by spending two Castform Weather Charms and one plate of any type of food.
Meanwhile, the More Spores for Hoppip in event is underway Pokemon Pokopia sent to live broadcast. The event will run until March 25 and allows players who have completed the Pokémon Center restoration and befriended Drifloon to visit the Dream Islands and collect Cotton Spores, which can be exchanged for picnic-themed furniture.
