They play an important role for Heroes My Hero Academia's a heroic society that serves the community while protecting ordinary people from villains. Each pro hero has strengths and weaknesses, with some better suited for background roles and others for directly confronting threats. Nothing makes a hero stand out more than a unique ultimate move.
Each hero strives to train their abilities and develop an arsenal of techniques and uses for their abilities. The highlight of this for many heroes is their ultimate moves, which showcase their mastery over their quirks. These stand out as the most powerful ultimate moves of a pro hero.
Mt. Lady – Canyon Cannon
Gigantification quirt Mt. Lady can hardly miss her. In a series with some pretty interesting and unique abilities, the powers of Mt. Lady straightforward, as well as her strongest ultimate move.
The Canyon Cannon won't win any style points, but it gets the job done. While Mt. Lady uses her Gigantification quirk, hitting her enemy with a massive flying kick that deals tons of damage. It might not be the most creative move, but you wouldn't want to be on the other end.
Edgeshot — Thousand Sheet Pierce
Edgeshot's Foldabody trait makes him great for melee combat, and he's proven to be a very capable fighter throughout the series. Edgeshot used several ultimate moves My Hero Academia, but none as powerful as his Thousand Sheet Pierce.
This move allows Edgeshot to twist into ropes, which he uses to punch through his opponents and knock them out. This is a great technique for handling multiple enemies at once, and also has other uses as seen when Edgeshot used Zenith to heal Bakugou during Final War.
Mirko — Luna Tijeras
Mirko has a lot of ultimate moves that have been shown throughout My Hero Academia. While all of these were effective, her Luna Tijeras is probably the strongest of the bunch.
Like most of her ultimates, Mirka's Luna Tijeras is a pretty straightforward technique. Mirko uses her rabbit quirk to jump onto her opponent, grab their head with her feet, and then twist her body to rip their head off and smash them to the ground. It's an incredibly powerful and devastating move that Mirko uses to take down High-End Nom.
Hawks — An aerial feather blade with enhanced Soundwave vibrations
Even Pro Heroes can benefit from a little help from time to time. Hawks' Fierce Wings quip is powerful enough on its own, but we saw something amazing when he combined it with Jiro's Legato ultimate move during Final War.
Hawks harnesses Jiro's sound waves by using them to propel his katana towards the opponent, greatly increasing the power of his swing and the effect of his attack. He used this combo technique against All For One by repeatedly slashing the villain cleric's helmet, finally breaking it.
The Star and Stripe — the state-of-the-art hypersonic intercontinental cruise punch
Star and Stripe's time in the series may have been short, but the #1 US Pro Hero still managed to stand out as one of the strongest and bravest in the series. Star and Stripe's New Order is one of the strongest in My heroso it makes sense that her ultimate move is as powerful as his.
Her state-of-the-art Hypersonic Intercontinental Cruise Punch uses high-tech Tiamat missiles. She uses her Fist Bump to the Earth move to grab the projectiles and redirect them with her wit, hitting them and creating a massive explosion. The move almost destroyed Shigaraki, and although it took a ton of damage, his quick thinking saved him from the fatal blow.
Endeavor — Prominence Burn
Endeavor may be a controversial hero, but one thing you can't doubt is his power. While he has various ultimate moves that he uses in the series, nothing comes close to his Prominence Burn.
It's a pretty straightforward technique; Endeavor pushes his Hellflame spell to its limits to fire a massive fire beam that can vaporize an opponent on impact. It is powerful enough to take out almost any villain, with Endeavor often using it in the pinky.
All Might — United States of Smash
The strongest hero in history All Might has accomplished a lot during his career as a professional hero. With a massive arsenal of ultimate moves to choose from, All Might has plenty of techniques that could take down most villains in seconds. But his strongest move has to be his iconic United States of Smash.
There isn't much to this attack; it's basically just a regular punch. What makes this so devastating (besides the fact that it comes from All Might) is that All Might puts every ounce of One For All power into the technique. In addition to the incredible environmental damage caused to the surrounding area, the attack dealt a massive blow to its target. Just put down most of the bad guys.
