PS5 is getting a super hard co-op game on February 24th

Infogrames finally brings its chaotic co-op platform, Bread and Fredto PlayStation 5 February 24th. Since its release in 2020, the PlayStation 5 has remained one of the most popular consoles on the market, supporting Sony's position as a leading game console manufacturer. The console continues to hit sales milestones, surpassing the PlayStation 3's lifetime figures of over 90 million units sold as it inches closer to the PlayStation 4's 117.2 million mark.

Punishing Co-Op Platformer Bread & Fred is coming to PlayStation 5 on February 24th

Developed by Sand Castles Studios and published by Atari subsidiary Infogrames, Bread and Fred will be released on PlayStation 5 on February 24th for the low price of $14.99. Previously released for PC in 2023 and Nintendo Switch in 2024, Bread and Fred is a cooperative friendship-testing platformer where players control two penguins who want to reach the top of a snowy mountain. The game is a true test of teamwork as players must guide the namesakes, Bread and Fred, up a precise climb where if one player falls, the other falls with them.

PlayStation players won't be the only ones to experience this Bread and Fred for the first time since the game will also be released on the Xbox Series X/S on the same day. In addition to the base game, the console edition will also include the game Lab updatewhich added a 666 meter map for players to explore. This update features even more new mechanics and puzzle rooms for players to experience, as well as new NPCs and lore that build on the game's deeper story than expected.
