The leaking industry stated that PS5 could get even deeper Black Friday discounts than Sony has already shown, including a potential discount on the PS5 Pro with a disc drive for a limited time. A digital variant of the previously announced Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 bundle has also been announced as among Sony's upcoming offerings.
The rumors come a day after Sony officially unveiled the Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 console Black Friday bundle, which will arrive no later than November 22 via PlayStation Direct. It will also be available at other retailers starting November 26th. The Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle includes a standard PS5 disc drive console, a DualSense controller, 1,000 V-Bucks, and a voucher for various Flowering Chaos cosmetics for use in modes such as LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival. This new 2025 Black Friday PS5 bundle is rumored to cost $449, a $100 discount from the current $549 price tag, while supplies last.

With Black Friday just days away, a well-known industry leak has claimed that Sony might unveil some more discounts for the holiday shopping season. According to a report from billbil-kun on Dealabs, the Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 bundle could get a digital-only alternative that skips the disc drive, discounted from €499 to €349 in Europe. Additionally, the PS5 Pro, which currently costs €799, could see a €100 price drop to €699 for Black Friday. Previous editions of the standard PS5, with and without a disc drive, will also be discounted to €449 and €349 respectively. So all PS5 consoles could see a minimum discount of €100 on Black Friday in Europe.
Of course, it remains to be seen if these rumored discounts will extend to other countries like the US at similar rates. However, any discounts would come at an opportune time for US consumers. Due to tariffs on various goods from countries like China, where Sony does its manufacturing, the price of the current PS5 line of consoles has jumped $50 across the board, with the PS5 Pro landing at a steep $749 in the US.
Should the PS5 Pro become part of Sony's 2025 Black Friday deals in the US, the discount would drop the PS5 Pro below its previous MSRP of $699. At the time of writing, Sony has not officially revealed other Black Friday deals apart from Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 bundle, so any rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.
