IN Dragon Quest 7 (DQVII) Reimaginedyou will eventually reach a point in the story where you will visit the Ballymolloy area and be sent to Rainbow Mines to get a green gem for a little boy trying to heal his sick father. Going through the dungeon won't take most players that long, but there is one rather tricky puzzle that can trip people up.

TL;DR: If you want the answer to the puzzle right away without the fluff, go ahead and push the third red ball (counting them from left to right) to smash the ball against the wooden platform. Next push the second red ball. And finally push the last red orb to clear a small puzzle and continue underground.

There are three red balls to push. Counting from left to right, you want to start by pushing the third red ball to break the second red ball on the wooden platform. This will cause the rock to fall into the gap below, creating a path to the red orb below the platform.

Then push the second red ball onto the wooden platform and crush the second red ball – the blue ball will fall to a lower level and hit the second blue ball on the lower path.

And last but not least, push the last red ball to the left, it will roll down the cleared path to break the ball at the end.

When you do, the wooden platform near the stairs will turn into a bridge that you and the party can walk over.
