While Dispatch is all about making the right decisions and managing superheroes, romance plays a big part in the story. We all love a good video game romance, and no one will judge you for it (unless you choose the emperor in Baldur's Gate 3). However, there are only two options for a game with very good looking characters.
Choosing between Blonde Blazer and Invisigal can be difficult, although the vast majority chose the latter. While it's not yet known when or if we'll get a second season of the game, fans have already started voicing what they'd like to see. Romantic possibilities are unsurprisingly the biggest talking point, with fans not sure if they want more in season two.
Should Season 2 of Dispatch have more romance options?
A post by vinthesalamander on Reddit says that Dispatch doesn't need any more romance options. They said that AdHoc should focus more on developing the current capabilities as well as complementing some other members of the Z-Team. “New romance options are the last thing Season 2 needs,” they said. “They've already struggled to juggle two romantic options given how criticized their treatment of Blonde Blazers is, so adding more romances is just asking for trouble.”
There were plenty of comments agreeing with the overall sentiment. Perhaps the writing of a potential second series would benefit from fewer options for romance. However, there were also many people who thought that the game should actually expand the options for romance. The name that came up the most was, you guessed it, Malevola.

Adhoc Games is evolving the Telltale formula in incredible ways with Dispatch.
It seems that many Dispatch players were disappointed to learn that the muscle mom in the game was not romanticized. A lot of fans were hoping that they would have a good time with Karlach in denim shorts, but unfortunately they didn't manage to fulfill their dreams. Hopefully their dream will come true if the game gets another season.
Hopefully we get another season and the developers figure out a way to give everyone what they want.
