Sega Villains DLC from Art Of Vengeance

Shinobi: The Art of VengeanceThe first major DLC is finally here and it bizarrely focuses on a multi-dimensional battle between Joe Mushashi and various Sega Villains such as Goro Majima, Death Adder and Dr Eggman.

However, the Sega Villains DLC doesn't just let you go toe-to-toe with some of Sega's biggest villains, as it also introduces a few new unlockables related to its villains, including new outfits and Ninpa. Let's dive into unlocking them all.

Every unlockable outfit

Tyrant Warlord

Joe Mushashi in an outfit inspired by Golden Axe's Death Adder in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.

The first DLC outfit, Tyrant Warlord, is based on Golden Axe's Death Adder. You can unlock it with reaching the end of the Dimension of Eternal War levelwhere he will be waiting for you in a chest.

Mad dog

The best drip of the entire DLC is the Mad Dog outfit, which is obviously based on Goro Majima's snakeskin outfit. To unlock it, you will have to beat the City Streets dimension level and unlock the chest right at the end.

Evil genius

While the Mad Dog and Tyrant Warlord outfits unlock in a similar way, this rule has changed a bit for the Evil Genius outfit, which is based on Dr Eggman. To unlock it, you'll need to defeat the first Eggman boss in the Egg Zone Dimension. Before you go to the second boss battle, you will be able to take clothes.

Every unlockable Ninpo

Ninpo's Golden Ax

Joe Mushashi using the Ninpo-inspired Golden Axe's Death Adder in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.

Golden Ax Ninpo is unlocked by using Defeat the Death Adder in “The Warlord” level.. Golden Ax is very similar to Shuriken Ninpo as it allows Joe to throw out an ax with high damage. Apart from looking gorgeous, in fact, it's only meant to do damage and he doesn't have much more.

Doppelganger Ninpo

Joe Mushashi using Yakuza-inspired Ninpo in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.

Doppelganger is unlocked defeated Goro Majima in the “Mad Dog” stage.. Doppelganger is the most unique Ninpo introduced in the DLC and sees Joe summon various clones for a multi-directional attack. Doppelganger is good for building a performance gaugemaking it easily the most useful of the three Ninpo in the DLC.

Ninpo Egg Bomb

Joe Mushashi using Ninpo inspired by Dr Eggman in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.

The Egg Bomb is the last unlockable Ninpo of the whole DLC and it's a reward defeat the second Eggman boss in the Egg Zone Dimension stage. Egg Bomb can only be activated in the air, so it's a bit limited, but does high damage, so it's a decent choice if you're going Hardcore Mode.

Boss Rush Mode DLC

The Sega Villains Boss Rush in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.

Although Ninpo and Outfits are the main unlockables in the Sega Villains DLC, it's here Boss Rush DLC waiting for you once you beat each level of the expansion. The Boss Rush is similar to the base game mode, but much, much harder because you have to deal with bosses here. If you want even more Art of Vengeance, consider this a nice bonus challenge.
