As for the overall plot Solo levelingSome of the most exciting moments in the story revolve around Sung Jinwoo gaining new powers through his System. Since Jinwoo is the Shadow Monarch, one of his greatest abilities is the ability to draw out the shadows of enemies he defeats and then add them to his already incredible army as his subordinate followers. During Solo leveling series, Jinwoo has acquired many Shadows, some of which include fan favorites like Igris or Beru. However, in Solo Alignment: Stand UpJinwoo has now acquired another new Shadow with immense abilities, called Collosus, and fans can't wait to use it in the game.

Sung Jinwoo unlocks a new shadow in Arise's solo alignment known as the colossus
Solo Leveling Arise is one of the most exciting video game adaptations of the Solo Leveling series. It's a mobile game, and it allows the story of Solo Leveling to expand somewhat as fans take control of their favorite characters. Solo Leveling Arise brought new characters for players to use and this is especially seen in the new Shadows for Sung Jinwoo. The latest shadow that Sung Jinwoo acquired in Arise is now officially revealed and named Colossus.
Colossus is Jinwoo's new shadow based on a character he already fought in the manhwa, the Mechanical Giant. During the S-Rank Gate Raid in Japan, Jinwoo fought the Mechanical Giant but was unable to draw his shadow in the story. Colossus should be an interesting new character for fans to use as it allows for water buffs in Solo Leveling: Arise.
Colossus Turning Into A Shadow conflicts with Lore Solo Leveling
It's always interesting to see new characters join Jiwnoo's army as shadows. However, the latest Shadows addition, Colossus, goes against the tradition of Solo Leveling in many ways. Firstly, as stated earlier, Jinwoo was unable to pull out the mechanical giant's shadow when they fought in the manhwa, and of course that was for a big reason. Jinwoo was stronger than Giant and should have easily been able to extract the shadow, but in Solo Leveling, not every character's soul is extractable.

Monarchs and rulers are out of the question for Jinwoo, and the same goes for demons as well as the puppet beings that the mechanical giant falls under. In this sense, the mechanical giant is merely an illusion, and in reality has no tangible soul to draw from to turn into a shadow.

Solo Leveling Arise has many problems with lore
Solo leveling rise has many discrepancies with the original Solo Leveling series. This isn't really a problem as fans are aware of the fact that these are two separate canons, but some of the inconsistencies in the lore are too glaring and have been pointed out by fans of the game.
For example, the character Jinwoo unlocked in Solo Leveling Arise that he was unable to obtain in the original series is Baruka, the leader of the ice elves. The Ice Elf King was the first character that Jinwoo was unable to extract due to being at different power levels when the exchange occurred. Of course, in this case pulling out his shadow was a tangible possibility, unlike what happened when the mechanical giant turned into Colossus.
There is also the issue of Cerberus in Solo Leveling Arise. Cerberus' shadow should not have been able to be extracted because it was not a real being but a creation from the Architect. This brings up a problem similar to the Colossus case. This makes it clear that Solo Leveling Arise is constantly giving Jinwoo Shadows that he shouldn't be able to get according to the lore of the original story.
Of course, at the end of the day, many fans don't mind this inconsistency, and it's still a fun situation if Jinwoo could actually win them over. Like Cerberus and Colossus, they make very fun additions to the game and offer new creative shadows for Jinwoo to utilize.
