A used Xbox 360 by a lucky fan came with a Rockstar Devkit
GTA fan Janmatant shared his unlikely story on GTAForums, an online community dedicated to the franchise. The user claimed to have bought the console used from a car boot sale in the UK, paying just £5 for the console. The console still had the original Rockstar stamp on the hard drive and came with a beta version Grand Theft Auto 4. The beta version contained several features cut from the full version of the game, including various ones GTA radio stations with songs later cut from the final game, a zombie minigame removed, and even a ferry model from GTA 4first trailer
A stunning discovery also came with the revelation of what GTA fan plans to do with devkit. A GTAForums user has confirmed that he intends to sell the console, with some hardcore fans already offering a staggering £800 to own the Rockstar development kit. A user has shared some console images outside of the GTA beta files, including a look at the Xshell launcher that is only used in Xbox 360 devs. Grand Theft Auto 4 included in the development kit even gives an idea of the build timeframe, with fans discovering the executable v GTA 4 the build dates to September 2007, roughly seven months before release.
Incredibly GTA 4 find has seen a lot of fan interest in the abbreviated content included in the game. The beta included several songs that were not featured in the final version of the game, including music by Run DMC, Daddy Yankee, and The Who, among others.
