Blow the odds STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl Director Ievgen Grygorovych, who will receive a PS5 port in the near future, said that the Xbox and PC versions are “the only ones” that developer GSC Game World is working on. STALKER 2 is one of the major console exclusives for Xbox from 2024 and is currently only available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
As of the November 20 issue STALKER 2 took hold and its sales and player count skyrocketed in a short period of time. The significant demand for the post-apocalyptic FPS is also partly due to the extended wait for the game, which was originally announced back in 2010. Due to its popularity, just about a month after its release, STALKER the sequel collected enough revenue to generate a profit for its creator, GSC Game World. Although it is an Xbox console exclusive, some gamers have been waiting for the eventual announcement of a PS5 version. However, such speculation may now have been put to rest, at least for now, by the Ukrainian studio.

This suggests that things with the latest STALKER the title is treated quite differently compared to other major Xbox exclusives, Indiana Jones and the Great Circlewhich was revealed to be coming to PS5 even before the Xbox and PC versions were released. As the move didn't sit well with some Xbox enthusiasts, there were reports that the Microsoft-owned brand may have hesitated to release its big game on the multi-platform platform too soon.
While Grygorovych's team isn't currently developing a PS5 version, they'll likely have their hands full due to the maintenance required by the game's buggy launch state. Based on comments from the developers, it looks like the priority is now more significant updates for the foreseeable future rather than any speculated PlayStation port.
