Stardew Valley: How to Befriend Jodi

Mother of Sam and Vincent, Stardew Valley'with Jodi she spends her days keeping house, tending the garden and catching up with her best friend Caroline. She is happy with her quiet life, but has her own troubles. Jodi always worries about her boys and her husband, Kent, who returns from war traumatized.

Of course, the player must build a strong bond with Jodi before confiding in them. Like any villager in Pelican Town, players can give her gifts, chat with her, and complete requests to form a bond with her. Here's how to get it.

Gift Guide

A thoughtful gift always goes a long way – but like everyone else Stardew ValleyJodi has likes and dislikes that players should remember. In addition, remember that donations are given on her birthday, the 11th of autumn, resulting in 8x the usual friendship points (or loss).

Loved gifts

The following are the best possible gifts for Jodi. Each of these will give the player 80 friendship points with her:

• Cooked meals: Chocolate cake, Crispy Bass, Eggplant Parmesan, Fried eel, Pancakes, Rhubarb Pie, Vegetable mixture
• Diamond
• All Universal Loves: Golden pumpkin, Prism shard, Magic Rock Candy, Pearl, Rabbit's foot, Stardrop tea

Favorite gifts

These options don't grant as many friendships as the ones above, giving 45 points. Still, these are great options to win Jodi's favor:

• Fruit, except Spice Berry
• craft goods, except Mayonnaise oil and emptiness
• egg, except for the Void Egg
• Flowers, except Poppy
• Vegetables, except hops, tea leaves, wheat and garlic

Unloved and hated gifts

The following gifts will decrease Jodi's friendship with the player. Hated gifts lead to a sharper drop than Dislikes. However, any drop in friendship is bad news, so the player should never present the following items to her:

• Raw fish
• Geodes and geode minerals
• Craft itemsincluding sprinklers, floors, tools, etc.
• Most mushrooms and other feed items
• Garbage
• Production materials such as ores, coal, or sap
• Spice Berry

Cinema

Once the cinema is available, the player can invite Jodi to the cinema by donating a ticket. Jodi loves The Zuzu City Express and likes all the other movies, so no matter what the player chooses, the outcome will be positive. At the concession stand, she loves Chocolate Popcorn and Stardrop Sorbet. Her hobbies include:

• Cappuccino Mousse Cake
• French fries
• Ice cream sandwich
• Jasmine tea
• Nachos
• Personal pizza
• Popcorn
• Salmon burger
• Salted peanuts

Tasks

Help wanted

Like any villager, Jodi can post on notice board in front of Pierre's shoprequiring a random item. Players will get some gold and 150 friendship points if they complete her objective.

Jodi's request

Players will receive a letter from Jodi on Spring 19 requesting a cauliflower. This task has no time limit. Once players bring her the desired vegetables, she rewards them with 350 ga her friendship with the farmer yes increase by one heart.

Friendly benefits and events

Like many other villagers in Pelican Town, Jodi will send the player some of her favorite recipes once they reach a certain friendship level with her:

• Fried calamari: This recipe brings no fanfare and one of its main ingredients, octopusit's hard to get. However, it is often suitable as a gift.
• Ice cream: A decent source of health and energy, players can cook ice cream from common ingredients.

At any friendship level, Jodi can send a random type to the player fertilizer in the post office. These come in handy early in the game when players may not have the money or materials to buy or craft their own.

Although there is no reward for this quest, the cutscene is touching and shows how close the farmer has become with Jodi's family.
