Unfortunately for the millions of PC gamers who use SteamValve's digital platform is experiencing some major issues today. With many features to ensure the quality of life and user-friendly model, Steam is a favorite for most PC gamers.
Steam almost always works fine, but there are rare cases where it has some hiccups. Steam not working right now?
As for access to Steam on December 24th, mileage may vary. It's not 100% working for me at the time of this writing, but apparently others can access it without issue. Valve itself has not released any statement regarding the issues plaguing Steam today, but hopefully the issues will be resolved soon.
It's not clear what exactly is causing Steam's problems. It's possible that the influx of people using Steam during the holidays is causing the problems, or there's something else at play. Whatever the case, we'll update this article once Steam services are fully restored for everyone.
