Some Star Blade players recently pointed out that the game missed out on a Halloween event during October. While Star Blade had a very popular summer event, the same did not happen during the spookiest month of the year, which disappointed some die-hard fans of the popular action game.
Released in April Star Blade is among the most popular games released in 2024. The PS5 exclusive character action title has sold over a million copies and received positive reviews from critics, scoring an average of 82 on OpenCritic.
