What really sets Bellwright unlike other games in the genre, players will not only focus on their own progress, but on the development of the people they rule. As you save other villages from the kingdom's rule with an iron fist, you will learn more combat and survival skills, just like the villagers. Workers will become master craftspeople, armies will become well-oiled machines, and players themselves will become experts with any of the game's wide variety of medieval weapons.

Thanks to a wide range of game mechanics Bellwright rarely has any breaks in the action. As you grow from a small settlement into a large rebellion, players will be tasked with commanding armies, navigating settlement politics, and honing their own skills as they seek the truth.

The “Maiden Voyage” update brings a new Halmare Islands map and quality attributes

With the game still in Early Access, existing and new players alike are being treated to a major content update that will bring whole new areas to explore and new features to include in their gaming experience. It's not just cosmetics, it's a whole new story, new loot and special rewards.

Once players have completed the Karvenia region, they can build a dock and sail to the Halmare Islands for a new experience. The new content will drop players into a brand new explorable biome that is simply bursting with everything from additional quests and rewards to new buildings and animals to discover.

In addition to the new map and story, some other gameplay elements are added. Players can expect a new faction system with multiple progression lines and new faction armor and clothing. Not only that, but the range of weapons is expanding and there are now crossbows and spears to add to your arsenal, making for completely new builds and playstyles.
