Battlefield 6 players have discovered a daily XP cap, a problem that has only grown in severity with the ongoing double experience event in the game. XP is a hot topic for a variety of reasons Battlefield 6 players, from bot farms in Portal to other progression-based challenges.
Battlefield 6 it had a massive launch, easily surpassing its predecessor both in engagement and with a much smoother launch. However, the game was not without controversy and fan frustration, much of which revolved around XP earned through gameplay. EA moved quickly on many of these issues, including a server-side change to increase the speed of progression Battlefield 6allowing players to unlock new items faster than at launch. However, a new issue has surfaced in the community that has left many players frustrated after its discovery.
Battlefield 6 has a daily XP cap
While double XP events are great ways to quickly level up and unlock new gear, players have discovered a frustrating issue stemming from the daily XP limit. Players have noticed that after gaining 1.5 million XP, the game stops rewarding anything for the rest of the day. While this number is still a huge amount of experience to earn in a single day, it is not impossible. The big problem is that the daily limit has not been updated due to Battlefield 6Double XP weekend event, which means players are able to reach this value much easier/faster than normal and basically have no chance to get any new rewards.
Naturally, this finding left most players frustrated and disappointed, with many speaking out against the tactic online. While some doubt if it is even possible to earn so much XP without using some XP farming method Battlefield 6many are still frustrated that such a limitation exists in the game at all. Fans liken this restriction to something a free-to-play or mobile game would do, not a premium AAA title. Some likened it to a way to keep players logged in every day to complete a new set of challenges and tasks. Others pushed the other way, saying that at that point it might be time to do something else, like go out or use the free time for other activities. However, during special weekends like the double XP event, an issue like this will be a hot topic.
Thanks to constant improvements from EA, XP gains and progression are now faster than ever before. Battlefield Studios has also reworked Battlefield 6 challenge and match systems thanks in large part to player feedback as well as research and data. Specifically, quest requirements and challenges have been reduced across the board, making the game more rewarding and allowing players to unlock new skins and gear at a much faster pace. These changes have been well received by the community and given how valuable feedback is, it will be interesting to see if EA makes any adjustments to the current Daily XP cap.
