Collecting equipment plays a big role in the whole Crimson desert experience, but as players may have already noticed, most of the weapons, armor, and accessories in this game are pretty similar in terms of stats. That sick sword you found in a hidden dungeon might look great, but in practice it's no better than the ones sold around town. Now if you are looking for things in the Crimson desert that's truly unique, here are some of the most interesting ones we've found so far.
How to get Dark Marksman Armor in Crimson Desert
If you're looking for some great new armor in the Crimson Desert, then the Dark Marksman gear is what you need. Here's how to find and get it.
This guide focuses on gear with unique features or Abyss Gears. We will also focus specifically on equipment for Kliff.
Darkbringer Longsword
Darkbringer is a unique 2H sword that can be found northwest of Silver Wolf Mountain. She is housed between the jaws of a giant skeleton, and what sets her apart is her unique Ator's Orb Abyss Gear, which fires golden orbs that seek out enemies whenever you perform a heavy attack.
To be clear, Ator's Orb does very little damage. The main reason you would want to get this is because of its ability constantly transform your goals. Ator's Orb's stunning effect is especially noticeable against bosses, making it a great choice for players looking to extend their combos against enemies that aren't completely stunned yet.
If you're looking for a Heavy Attack Abyss Gear that does more damage, get the Crow's Pursuit from the Tauria Curved Sword, which you can get just by playing the main quest.
Cannon lance
Cannon Spears can be made at any blacksmith once you learn their recipe. Two-Handed Weapons of the World book unlocks Cannon Spear recipes for you, and one is inside Glenbright Manor. The book is on a shelf on the second floor, in the earl's office. Read it and you'll be able to craft the Rhinard Spear, which works like a regular spear, except you can shoot projectiles when you press Heavy Attack while blocking or with your Stab input.
Once you clear the Sanctum of Absolution in Hernand and the Sanctum of Veneration in Deleysia, you'll unlock the Kuku Laser Cannon Spear recipe. However, this is much more complicated to manufacture.
Marni laser helmet
The Marni Laser Helmet is a plate armor that can shoot lasers from its eyes. You can find it on a small table inside Marni's Masterium, which is as far as the southeast end of Delesyia. This helmet can be upgraded to the Kuku Marni Laser Helmet at the Kilnden Workshop, giving it three additional laser rounds as well as a significantly lower cooldown.
Cheater's Fedora
This hat lets you cheat Crimson Desert's Duo/Seotda minigame. To get it, you need to buy it from the mineral vendor in Tashkalpu, but before doing so, you'll first need to defeat Muskan, the champion of the local Tashkalpu battle arena, and get the vendor's trust to 100 (which you can easily do by giving him a few coin bags). He will then sell you the Deceiver's Fedora for 97 silver.
Gloves Combat God's Plate
Speaking of Muskan, defeating him in Tashkalp's Bonepit will reward you with the Combat God's Tale Gloves. This pair of gloves comes with Showstopper Abyss Gearwhich deals bonus electrical damage whenever you hit enemies with unarmed attacks. It's especially useful against enemies that are weak to this element (like the robots in Deleysia), and the Combat God's Plate Gloves are worth using even if you don't plan on using just your fists to fight. Mix in a few punches in between your usual hits and you'll get a lot of value out of this item.
Electro-Mecha Longsword
An Electro-Mecha Longsword is dropped by Marni's Machina Knight, one of them Crimson desert bosses found in Gorthak. Machina Knight can be pretty hard to beat if you're not prepared, so be sure to prepare before challenging it.
Like the Combat God's Plate Gloves, the Electro-Mecha Longsword deals extra Lightning damage with each strike. Both weapons consume bullets when hit and generate more bullets over time. in addition The Electro-Mecha Longsword cannot be upgraded, though it's more than enough to deal with most enemies in the game.

Electro-Mecha Spear
This is a spear variant of the Electro-Mecha Longsword, and it's not even that far off. Head to the Regent's Rise shown on the map above, then look for the chest behind the breakable slabs inside the circular moat (look under the ATAG platform). Hit the Force Palm plates and grab the spear inside. It uses the same charging mechanic as the other lightning weapons listed above and can't be upgraded either.
Alternatively, you can craft a Kuku Lightning Spear that has 10 charges instead of just 5. It can also be upgraded, though the Electro-Mecha Spear defaults to a base attack of 30 and Lv 1 Movement Speed.
Kuku chest armor
The three pieces of Kuku's chest are actually derived from the unique chest armor found on Pywel:
Not only do these armors make you very resistant to their respective elements, but they each have implicit stats above the defense they provide. Gives flame armor Critical rateice armor gives Movement speedand armor Lightning gives Attack speed.
Cuckoo armors also absorb the appropriate types of elemental damage, and once they've absorbed enough, they explode, dealing damage to all nearby enemies.
Vaporwalker shoes
This special pair of shoes will allow you to glide through shallow water. You'll still sink if you ever end up in any depth of water that forces you to swim, but what's great about the Vaporwalker shoes is that they give you a significant speed boost whenever you're gliding in shallow water. You can find these boots by going to the Ancient Rift and stabbing through the waterfall marked on the map above (Ancient Rift is directly north of Hernando and below 'A' on Pailune). You will know that you are standing in front of the right waterfall if there is a small pile of stacked stones nearby.
