There is something special about it StarRupture and its base-building style, similar to games like Factorio and Satisfactory. Selection optimal place to build a base is key in the long run strategy that takes the player to the dangerous end in this challenging survival builder.
This guide will help players choose one of the four best locations to create a long-term settlement in Arcadia-7. Whether it's a seasoned group of players looking to build an impressive farm base or solo players ready to take on the challenge StarRupture this information alone will help them find a niche of critical resources to fill all their building needs.
The best places to build a base in StarRupture
Taking the Orbital Lander as a starting point, we track down four locations located in one of the areas in the middle of the challenge that are easy to access in time and offer access to most of the game's critical resources: Food, Water (vegetable ingredients), Titanium, Wolfram Steel, Calcium, Helium-3, Silicaand Sulfur.
Hill Base By The Lake
With access to water, food, calcium and other important resources such as helium, titanium and sulphur, this base built on the central eastern region of Arcadia-7 can become a pleasant place to settle. The player will save a lot of time (and building materials) and have relatively few insect nests in the area. To the northeast are the Wolfram and Titanium nodes.
The monoliths are a bit far, and there's another advantage: this Base is next to the Geo Scanner, so scouting around will be easy. A nearby lake provides a constant source of water bulbs for water, as well as the rare Prism Herb, which is essential for high-end consumables. The nearby underground caves also have plenty of Quartz and Glowcaps that will come in handy in the late game.
Moat base for tower defense
This Trench Base is protected by a natural trench created between rock walls access to two basic resources: Titanium and Wolfran, plus backup Helium-3 between these two metal nodes. Calcium and sulfur are relatively close, so it is also possible to build a railway to deliver raw materials from neighboring bases. It's there too a quartz deposit next to a Titanium node.
A nearby lake provides water, and there's also food nearby, so players won't worry about running out of resources anytime soon. There is a monolith nearby so players must be careful when it activates as it will spawn waves of Vermin that will try to destroy and infect their bases. There is a lot of Snake Root in the area, a critical consumable that players will definitely need in heaps (it's used to make Energy Boost Capsules).
Reach base
The Reach is the middle part of the journey in Arcadia-7, and StarRupture players will come to this zone after leaving the starting area and heading northeast. This place is teeming with life, including vermin and dangerous Goliaths, so be careful. Fortunately, it's also brimming with resources like sulfur, helium-3, calcium, and pretty much everything players need to build the perfect base.
It is an ideal place to build a long-term site. Unfortunately, this has its drawbacks: the proximity of verm nests makes it an extremely difficult place to tame if you're a solo player. But a group of four friends playing together will have no problem dominating the zone and creating a defensive perimeter to protect the base. The increased critical resource yield is worth the trouble.
Easy access to EndGame Base
West of The Reach and overlooking the river is a decent place to build an Endgame Base. With access to all resources, except sulfur, which must be mined from the node west of the mountain overlooking the plateau, where players can build a fantastic base. Drilling each edge of the canyon with defensive turrets will make dealing with waves of Vermin easier.
Quartz, titanium and calcium are abundant in the zone, and there is even a huge deposit of Helium-3 nearby, meaning players will have a constant supply of all the essential resources to craft everything in the game. Additionally, its central location makes it an ideal place to hide from the waves as players explore the surrounding caves and abandoned settlements.
