2XKO is of course about tag teams because it's a 2v2 tag fighter. This means you'll want to find the best combinations for who to use. This means determining which characters work well together, not only for your own playstyle, but also for how they play individually.

There are also assists that you need to think about and determine if they work well with your primary character. While the usual advice still applies here, play whoever you want and have fun if you want to be a little competitive, there are certain champions that just work better with others. Here are some of the best team combinations to try.

Ahri is one of those characters who is fair good with almost every champion. As Rushdown has ridiculous move which most other characters lack and can deal tons of damage with combos which is not too difficult to pull off. Her projectiles and ability to double and triple super combined with her mid-air moves make her a great candidate for just about anyone.

Ekko is another character who works well with almost every champion in the game. Pair two champions that are almost universally wanted for every team and you have a a strong baseline of ridiculous movement, great drop-off possibilities, and a sweet plot twist to follow. Ekkow, who can mix any opening, Ahri leaves him, letting them both get away with some ridiculous combos against the opponent.

Illaoi and Jinx

This team is about everything force and pressure. Illaoi is the best Bruiser in the gameand her kit has her tentacles that can they help close space and dish out more attacks.

Pair her with Jinx as a Zoner that can take advantage of the stationary champion or throw more traps and tentacles to overwhelm them. Combine that with the damage potential of both and you have a ridiculously strong team.

Caitlyn and Ahri

Like Zoner and Rushdown, Ahri and Caitlyn dominate the scene when paired together. Ahri makes up for Caitlyn's limited movement, and Caitlyn protects Ahri while setting up the perfect combo situation.

This allows Ahri to take over and arrive whoever Caitlyn leaves behind. It definitely is one of the strongest and combo-heavy pairs it will be able to extend these combos even further than you would imagine.

Jinx and Teemo

This duo is similar to Jinx and Illaoi, but much more annoying and faster zoning definition. Using both of these champions means lmore traps are set up throughout the stageand each controls the stage when present. With the right Fusion like Double Down, you can end up dealing a lot of damage and taking out your opponent easily.

Teem's increased damage combined with Jinx traps can place and her own damage, your opponent will have to try and find the two as they thrash across the screen destroying everything in their path. Your opponent will not be able to keep up.

Warwick & Vi

The two complement each other well, with Warwick picks up where Vi fails. Alternatively, Vi helps Warwick quickly retrieve Bloodust while she assistsand theirs attacks can be combined with each others for devastatingly powerful combos that feel like they'll never end.

Warwick is almost unblockable Overhead attack is the perfect setup to continue from Viand theirs assists are added against the opponent in a nasty way. Overall they are just so much damage for your opponent to grapple with.

Yasuo and Ekko

This team has several combos that are sure to overwhelm your opponent with sheer force. Although Blitzcrank lacks mobility, Illaoi can help by pulling opponents into position with its tentacles.

As a Grappler you want him to be able to do his job and between the tentacles and his ability combination to help Illaoican getting close enough to perform the grappling he is known forcreating a devastating power couple that controls the corner and your every move if you try to get away.

Darius & Braum
