Gyutaro on Tengen Uzui
- Mango: Chapter 88
- Arc: An arc of entertainment district
When Gyutaro fought with Tenngen Uzui after the latter was beheading Daki, he promised the accurate revenge of the Demon killer. In his angry state shouted:
I collect what is due. We pay you back for what you did to us! And as you lie down, don't forget … that it was Gyutaro who sent you to the afterlife!
While Gyutaro's words reflected his emotional state at that time, as soon as the battle ended, it was finally revealed that it was also underlining something much more ominous. The duo of the fraternal sister was excluded and bullied for most of her early human life. The wounds caused by their bodies and souls lived with them even after they turned into demons.

- Mango: Chapter 145
- Arc: Infinity Castle Arc
The struggle of Zensu and Kaigak at Infinity Castle was one of the most intense battles in the whole series. They both trained under the same master, and the death of Jigoro Kuwajima left Zennsu's broken and furious man for Kaigak's decision. When he sought to explain, Gyutaro and Daki's replacement in twelve kizuki revealed how he unknowingly hit Kokushibo one evening.
To save his life, he accepted the offer to become a demon and betray the ideals his master instilled. Justified this by saying:
“Until you die, you have lost you. You can touch your face to the dirt, you can lose your home or drink muddy water, people can curse you for theft of money, but if you live, you can win one day.
From the context, the words of Kaigak may sound motivated, but with the right context reveal twisted survival of thinking. For him, every human being he had ever met, only a pawn who was sacrificed for his survival and strength. Kaigaku has never regretted playing a major role in the deaths of several innocent people. It was almost as if the demon was before Kokushibo turned him into one.
