With release Football Manager 26the annual hunt for the best child prodigies has begun. Young players who can be bought relatively cheaply before developing into superstars can turn any team into future contenders or can be sold for huge profits as teams like Brighton prove year after year.
Below are some of the best prodigies in FM 26who have the potential to develop into elite players. However, potential is dynamicso depending on their determination, game opportunities and a lot of other factors including luck, they will achieve different ratings on different saves.
Emphasis is also placed on lesser known child prodigies which have not yet bloomed. Don't expect to see too many Lamine Yamals.

The term 'wonderkid' is also entirely made up, meaning this list is not exhaustive. There are hundreds of players across all continents with high potential. Managers are therefore encouraged to explore all leagues and give it a try find your own prodigy.
More will also be produced through the academy system, so continue searching for newly generated players. It's also key recruit better scouts as well as the staff who develop youth players. With the right settings, there will be more such players reach your full potential.
