Greatest LEGO the set, which was once based on Barcelona's Sagrada Família, is said to launch in the summer of 2026, according to some new insights from a reliable leak. The upcoming model is expected to contain hundreds more pieces than the current largest LEGO set in existence.

The new information comes from Brick Tap Community Chief Wiggum, a leaker with a long history of reliable knowledge about LEGO products. The same source recently shared alleged details about the first LEGO Pokemon set with minifigures.

3 Licensed LEGO Sets for August 2026 Leaked Online

Reliable insiders have revealed the first details of three licensed LEGO sets that are said to hit store shelves in August 2026.

21065 Sagrada Família is reportedly set to claim the title of the largest LEGO set of all time

The latest insider report materialized on March 17 and identifies a new set as 21065 Sagrada Família. At 12,060 pieces, the unannounced model is expected to debut as the Danish toymaker's biggest set to date by some margin. 21065 Sagrada Família is reportedly slated to hit store shelves as part of LEGO's early summer 2026 product wave, with boss Wiggum citing July 1 as the official release date. It is expected to retail for $599.99 in the United States, according to the same source.

Easy (7.5s) Medium (5.0s) Hard (2.5s) Permadeath (2.5s)

21065 Sagrada Família is believed to be part of the LEGO Architecture theme, according to both the newly discovered leak and separate Brick Tap reports from January 2026. The categorization is notable as the Architecture range has until now been largely known for more compact, display-focused landmarks and panorama models rather than models with LEGO's biggest competing collectibles. However, a Sagrada Família on this scale would be in keeping with the line's emphasis on famous real-world structures, even if its reported dimensions suggest something much closer to the company's ultra-premium showcase sets than the typical Architecture line release.

The timing of the rumored Sagrada Família LEGO model is no coincidence

The real landmark on which the famous LEGO set is based is the Roman Catholic Basilica in Barcelona and the most famous work of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Located in the city's grid-based Eixample district, the Sagrada Família combines elements of Gothic Revival and Catalan modernism. Construction began in 1882, and Gaudí took over the project the following year, transforming it into a highly symbolic, nature-inspired design defined by towering towers, a sculptural facade and intricate geometric shapes.

More than 140 years later, the church remains unfinished but active. The basilica says construction is still ongoing and expects the main structure to be completed in 2026, while recent reports indicate that the central tower of Jesus Christ has reached its full exterior height, with interior and finishing work still remaining. The rumored Lego could thus be based on a relatively finished model of the basilica, commemorating the end of almost 150 years of construction.

Another huge LEGO set is reportedly coming before the 21065 Sagrada Família

The 21065 Sagrada Família is expected to surpass the current largest LEGO set, the 31203 World Map, by 365 pieces. It's also not the only massive model the Danish toymaker is set to debut this year; according to several earlier reports, the still-unannounced 11377 Minas Tirith will rank among the top 10 biggest LEGO sets ever when it launches on June 1st. It is expected to be the sixth, but the rumored arrival of the 21065 Sagrada Família would push it into seventh place among the company's largest brick-built models to date.
