But while new additions to popular games are always exciting, something like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Hardcore mode is not for everyone. Fortunately, those who are looking for something more meaningful do not have to wait much longer, with PR manager Warhorse Studios seemingly confirming that the first DLC comes next month.
Kingdom Come: The first main update of Deliverance 2 could come in May
Before Kingdom Come: The release of Deliverance 2, Warhorse Studios released a plan for the game. This confirmed that the expansion of three stories will be launched in the summer, autumn and winter 2025, in this order, but the window was not even more narrowed.
Now, a seemingly harmless tweet from a few days ago, which was completely unnoticed, could reveal that the first part of the game was falling in May.
One Twitter user asked Tobi Stolz-zwilling, PR Warhorse Studio manager if he had “May” for DLC ETA, which he simply answered. Given his position in the studio, it is as close to confirmation as we get before the official announcement.
Recently in Prague Comic-Con, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Executive producer Martin Klíma outlined some of the content of the game. He shared that 35 tasks were interrupted before starting, including where he kidnapped Dracula. Internally, these tasks were given “status DLC”, which said the climate, which meant that they had “the possibility of release in the future update”. It will be interesting to see if someone sees daylight as part of this upcoming DLC startup.
I just hope that Tom McKay and Luke Dale, who have already seen their voice lines. With Kingdom Come: Script Deliverance 2, the longest in playing, you have to imagine that the boys need a break.
