All new map for Halo InfiniteThe Infection game mode features a nostalgic homage to production company Rooster Teeth. Although Rooster Teeth closed its doors for the last time earlier this year, this Halo Infinite tribute is a great way to pay tribute to a company.
Rooster Teeth was behind the company Red vs. blue. What started as a Halo: Combat Evolved Machinima eventually became a web series that ran for 18 seasons and propelled the entire company to success. Red vs. blue closed earlier this year at the same time as (but unrelated to) the closure of the company. Several Rooster Teeth personalities have appeared over the years Halo games that show the company Bungie and 343 Industries admired. This latest Easter egg is a good reminder of how important rooster teeth were Haloculture over the past few decades.

Redditor MonkeysxMoo35 recently noticed that a new Halo Infinite Created by community member UnknownEmerald, Studio Fright's infection map features a set that will be very familiar to Rooster Teeth fans. For the uninitiated, this is the Rooster Teeth Podcast set that ran from 2008 to 2024. While the set has evolved over the years, this version appeared in Halo Infinite it represents later iterations and is certainly not interchangeable with anything else. Even if there are some players who don't get it, it's great to see a reference included regardless.

While Rooster Teeth's closure was unfortunate, it's a testament to the legacy he left behind that it continues to emerge Halo games to some extent.
