The most expensive Solgaleo Pokemon TCG cards

While Solgaleo is relatively short Pokemon TCG Career has a smaller card list than Pokémon, which debuted in one of the best historical sets, still boasting a few beauties. The introduction of Solgaleo in Alola allowed it to appear across the best sets from the Sun and Moon era, boasting a mix of beautiful cards among its best.

However, despite its status as one of the most popular legendary Pokemon of the generation, Solgaleo still needs help from its friends to boost its TCG values. Lillie and Lunala appear alongside Solgaleo on some of his most valuable cards; however, this steel-type legendary pokemon stands alone on most of its expensive offerings.

Cards are sorted by their TCGPlayer
market price,
which you can pay on average for a copy of the cards below.

However,
sale prices vary depending on the condition of the card,
so this market price is only an approximation of the value of the card.

First Of The Couple

Solgaleo Cosmic Eclipse Stamp Promotion in Pokemon TCG.

Solgale's first post kicks off the promo with the Cosmic Eclipse stamp, which features a flaming portrait of Solgale as the legendary Pokémon dances in a wall of flames.

This die-cut promo celebrates the Cosmic Eclipse set, even though it didn't appear in stamped packs, instead appearing only in specially marked products such as three blister packs.

Near mint (NM) copies of this card are in decline as they once held their value firmly in the $20 region. However, while it's not impossible for this card to sell for around that amount, two NM sales for $29.95 and $9.99 leaves much doubt as to the future of this card and its true value.

5 Solgaleo GX: Sun & Moon Base (Secret Rare) – $10.41

A rainbow that works

Solgaleo Sun & Moon Secret Rare from Pokemon TCG.

This simple depiction of Solgalea celebrates this legendary Pokémon in all its glory with the era's signature Rainbow Secret Rare recolor. While the design divides opinion, this version is a positive example of the potential of Rainbow Secret Rare, as Solgaleo's simple color palette provides the perfect canvas.

Unsurprisingly, this Solgaleo is also dropping in value NM copy of the dip from over $15 to under $11 on a handful of sales. While mid-playable (MP) cards offer a nice six-dollar discount, they may continue to lose value due to this near-perfect copies drop to single digits.

4 Solgaleo: League & Championship Cards (Holo Rare) – $19.99

So nice they printed it twice

Solgaleo League & Championships Promo by Pokémon TCG.

Don't worry, you're not seeing double, as this Solgaleo boasts a special distinction that separates it from the Cosmic Eclipse stamped version that started things off. Take note PLAY! The Pokemon symbol at the bottom left of the card image.

Unfortunately, this version is equally disappointing in its data points, being the only sale in lightly played condition
(LP)
conditions for scaling.

While the rarity of this card makes it difficult to determine if its market price is fair or where the value may go from, it is likely that this card will become even more difficult to find over time, ultimately leading to an increase in value.

3 Solgaleo GX: Ultra Prism (Secret Rare) – $41.43

Lack of sufficient contrast

Solgaleo Ultra Prism SR from Pokemon TCG.

Solgaleo rises to new heights with this gorgeous Golden Entry – one of the most valuable cards in Sun & Moon's Ultra Prism. While you may love or hate the design, there's no denying the steep jump in price this card commands.

While Rainbow Secret Rares are often a matter of taste, all-gold Secret Rares rarely look even half as good as the original Pokemon design, as the lack of contrasting colors and surfaces makes the card feel unsatisfying.

You can pick up a medium-sized copy (MP) for around $26, while LP cards jump to $40, followed by NM copies that hover closer to $45, though they can sell for as much as $48.

2 Solgaleo & Lunala GX: Cosmic Eclipse (Secret Rare) – $61.15

Busy recoloring of the rainbow

The Solgaleo & Lunala GX Cosmic Eclipse Secret Rare from Pokemon TCG.

Solgaleo welcomes a little help from his friends with this Rainbow Secret Rare, which has earned one of the highest spots among valuable cards in Cosmic Eclipse. While the iridescent color palette distracts from these intricate designs, it doesn't get lost nearly as much as some others.

Solgale is joined by another legendary Pokémon, Lunala, along with Lillie, who is the canonical owner of Cosmog, the pre-evolved form of both Lunala and Solgale.

This card has broken down to $54 after reaching a high of $62, but is bouncing back to its earlier high with an impressive recovery in value that brought this card from $55 to $60 within a month. NM copies usually sell for $60 or so, while LP copies will cost closer to $40.

1 Solgaleo & Lunala GX: Cosmic Eclipse (Full Art) – $130.36

Excellent in vivid colors

Solgaleo & Lunala Cosmic Eclipse Full Art from Pokemon TCG.

This beloved Alolan trio returns with a beautiful piece of art that deserves to be called one of the best of the Sun and Moon era, exemplifying the generation's most amazing qualities in a single piece of art.

Lillie leads the way while Solgaleo falls in line with his trainer and offers instructions.

This card mimics the upward trajectory of the Rainbow Secret Rare and continues to climb back to the $130 plateau. This card once climbed as high as $152 before falling back to $100, but as support gathers, it continues to fly around its earlier starting point back to its high.
