Borderlands is a series that has its fair share of unpleasant characters and it is absolutely intentional. Since the world of Pandora has been overcome by bandits and psychos, it is no wonder that some characters can be too loud and unpleasant. During many Borderlands games, we have judged who we consider the most annoying and frustrating, whether it comes from the things they say or the things they do. See who we consider quite annoying and why the population on Pandora could only agree.
The figures below are not annoying based on their performance, but instead on their deliberate character interactions and actions. These characters are therefore designed to frustrate players and annoy the people around them instead of being criticized for writing and performances.
Ava
A child who still has to learn about responsibility and consequences
-
Listed in: Borderlands 3
It is always difficult to like children's characters because it seems that they will always end the same way. They hate authority, do not respect adults who want only the best for them, and they really just get into trouble, resulting in fatal consequences for people who are trying to save them. Ava is a textbook example of all these features and it is an disobedience Ava, which results in the death of a beloved character, which makes it difficult for the audience and other characters to forgive her because she would simply not listen.
Ava is quite anxious and it is understandable that it could vent such frustration. After all, she is just a young child who has learned to survive herself, so if someone tries to help her and claim that she has an extremely important fate as a siren, it is natural that she would be scared of it. However, although it is understandable that Ava is a personality and actions to be quite annoying, they never seem to earn closure, and she is rewarded for her mistakes with cold forces.
Krieg
A psycho divided personality that hits himself and spews nonsense
-
Listed in: Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3
Krieg is a nice bandit Psycho, who joined the hunters of the vaults in Borderlands 2 as a playable figure, and is so fun that he is around. Despite the joy of Krieg's character and his playing, however, some frustrating elements can make quite annoying. First, his dialogue is nothing but madness, and while other characters could engage in seriousness, Krieg is more interested in screaming in scalp, blood, murder and only other random attacks of violence. This can be fun for the audience, but they could consider it quite annoying and frightening for the people around Krieg.
Even outside his dialogue, Krieg can annoy players with his aggressive game style based on melee, in which he hits everything with his buzzax, but to cause more damage to his buzzax, you must add risk elements. Some of Krieg's skills mean that he can repeat, or even repeat himself in the face, making him play, as if you just want to shoot and stab enemies.
Patricia Tannis
Inappropriate, lacking social skills but tragically crazy
-
Listed in: Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3
Patricia Tannis was employed by Dahl Corporation to find a vault of Pandora, but the roughness of the climate and natives of the planet brought her to madness, madness from which she could never penetrate. Patricia developed a very interesting personality in which she became general emotion to protect her psyche. The words of Patricia were deeply cut because she did not seem to realize her complete liberation of social skills, which can quite annoyed to communicate with them if she either offends, flirts, or is just scary.
Patricia is the victim of Pandora, so much of her personality is quite understandable, and even IS its tendencies is still very clever and reliable to have around. He is embarrassing, taking care of science than people, and jokes burst if she probably don't have it. It is a strange blend of charming and annoying, but for Dr. We shouldn't have Tannise.
Nice jack
SMUG CEO of Hyperion who plunges and kills to get in the way
-
Listed in: Borderlands 2, Borderlands: Pre-Sequel
Nice jack wasn't always so. In fact, he was quite a humble person who worked as an engineer for Hyperion. Yet, with a little sex, Jack was able to take control of society and to dedicate his resources to inhabit Pandora in a world without bandits, psychos and safe hunters. Nice jack frustrates hunters of vaults because he considers himself a hero of his own story, but his arrogant personality makes him so entertaining and hard to hate as he presents a terrible speech in peanuts, or boasts the condition of his ass, his unicorn made of pure diamonds.
Nice jack will take advantage of any opportunity to bring to the ears of the vaults to sadistic suffering to the natives of Pandora. He is a murderer, a fascist, and he is not really a good man, so his bringing to justice can be extremely satisfactory, especially when he is so annoying that he is literally trying to bribe the hunters of the vaults to kill themselves.
Captain Scarlett
A pirate that likes to betray people and pretend to have done anything wrong
-
Introduced in: Borderlands 2
Captain Scarlett is a pirate from Pandora who is looking for a lost treasure of sands and on board her skiff, recruit and betrayed the naive anyone to believe that he will divide the prey. Captain Scarlett is quite fun as a character because he has one singular trick to pretend to not betray you, then betray you, and then repeats the cycle over and over again, as if it were the first time she did.
It is always quite fun, but it can also be quite annoying, especially in deadly situations when he's just a hunter and captain Scarlett, and still trying to betray the only people around. Captain Scarlett is not completely dangerous, but it is not the most pirate pirate, and it is a pity that it did not appear to annoy the next generation of the vault hunters with its betrayal cycle.
Troy Calypso
Half of the twin watching his sister and her leech
-
Listed in: Borderlands 3
Troy is weaker twins on Tyreen, and therefore it has to rely on it as if it were a runt litter. Troy seems to always crouch behind his sister, desperately longing for unfortunate power, and only when he knows that his battle has been won. He is terrifying, arrogant and always desperate for a new strength that makes it very unpleasant as an antagonist you can't wait to beat.
Troy is dangerous and unlimited, and although he uses other people to get what he wants, it is not against the pleasure that other people suffer in hand. What makes Troy even more annoying is not only his textbook, but his living personality, in which he and his sister love to stream his evil deeds to children Vyzor, which makes his person unbearable, and you simply cannot unsubscribe.
Tyreen Calypso
The second half that leads a cult that wishes to open Pandora
-
Listed in: Borderlands 3
Tyreen Calypso is a siren that has the ability of phaseleech, which basically allows it to absorb the life of anyone around you, including other sirens. Her ability is really bad and the fact that she is released from Lilith shows that there is no end or loyalty to her government, and her bad conquest of the whole universe shows her barbarism and the right to play.
What Tyreen does unpleasant is not just her evil motivation and how many people are injured, but how does her personality do it. Tyreen focuses on the opening of a large vault, which is Pandora himself, for the only goal of greater power, all the time lively streams everything he does to be really unpleasant and annoying with his smug personality and unpredictable words.
Gabble
The most unpleasant and lonely robot ever lived
-
Listed in: Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Borderlands 3, Borderlands 4
Claptrap is a definition of polarization because some people love it and some people hate it. While the audience is more divided into his love for Claptrap, anyone from the Pandora who communicates with him wants either Claptrap dead or dead about himself to save from Claptrap's voice. He screams when he speaks, does not stop talking and always believes he has the right and that everyone should do what he says.
While Claptrap is harmless, it can be quite annoying, so much that the gearbox software has added the possibility to completely mute the clamptrap Borderlands 4. The entire Claptrap product line was even destroyed simply because it was a nice jack Borderlands character. Through Claptrap's ignorance and refusal to accept the consequences of his actions, he managed to kill many people and always find a way to blame someone else.
