Analyst Says Witcher 3 DLC Coming May 2026, Witcher 4 Coming Late 2027
Noble Securities analyst Mateusz Chrzanowski released a flurry of information about CDPR's upcoming projects, starting with The Witcher 3 DLC. It was first rumored that The Witcher 3 could get new story DLC in the summer of 2025, and now Chrzanowski estimates that it will be released in May 2026 for $30. Despite the game being over 10 years old, Noble Securities expects this paid content to do quite well, predicting that it will sell around 11 million copies. Its release may be more of a promotional tactic Charmer franchise than anything else, as this new report also claims that DLC will kick off as well The Witcher 4complete marketing campaign.
After The Witcher 3 gets its “one more patch” and story DLC, all eyes turn to the next game in the series. Chrzanowski says the ambitious timeline is still on the table for now, but the trilogy's budget has grown from about $586 million to nearly $900 million. These skyrocketing costs could give CDPR another reason to release games so close together and ensure more consistent revenue.
Next on the list after that The Witcher 4 is Cyberpunk 2formerly known as “Project Orion.” Earlier CDPR reports indicated this Cyberpunk 2 it may not come out until at least 2030, and Noble Securities reaffirmed that timeline in this new report. Chrzanowski says the inclusion of multiplayer features has expanded the firm's estimate of when the game will be released, so CDPR could now be looking at a Q4 2030 window with the goal of possibly launching around the year. Cyberpunk 207710 year anniversary.
Two more Charmer games could come out sooner. The report predicts “Project Sirius”, multiplayer Charmer game and “Canis Majoris”, a remake of the first one Charmerboth will be released in 2028. That's a year later than Noble Securities originally expected, which makes sense in light of how CDPR absorbed the Project Sirius studio earlier in 2025 after some development issues. Finally, the mysterious “Hadar Project”, a brand new IP, is now set to release in 2032 and is said to still be in the “pre-concept” stage. Of course, all these dates are just projections and subject to change, but CD Projekt Red fans have a lot to look forward to.
