The older Scrolls 6 is “quite playable”, says the initiate

Since our vague CGI trailer, we haven't heard much about Scrolls 6 from Elder Scrolls.

Xbox Insider Jez Corden at the XB2 podcast claimed that the game is “quite playable” right now, even suggesting that he is further in development before we expected.

Currently there are several Fallout games in development and yes, one of them is “the one you all want”

VGC reporter Jordan Middler claims that “more Fallout projects” are evolving, but it will be a little longer than any of them.

“If the Elder Scrolls 6 core is done or is approaching -” Corden began. “Well, I don't think it's true. That won't be true for a while,” Rand Al Thor said. “I don't know, I don't know,” Corden said. “Has Elder Scrolls 6 hit even full production?” Rand Al Thor asked. “I don't know – I heard it's pretty playable,” Corden replied.

It is true, as Rand Al Thor said, “quite playable” could mean anything. Bethesda could have mapping a basic combat system or certain dungeons, but with incomplete textures and surrogate voice lines. Corden seemed to have indicated that it was further than Rand Al Thor and many of us thought, but with “IFS” and speculative language it is worth being careful.

Corden said his prediction that older Scrolls 6 would appear on a recent showcase was a “educated estimate”.

Corden also claimed in the same podcast as we reported yesterday that Fallout 5 was “fully green”, but that it may not include the Bethesda main team. Todd Howard repeated last year that Fallout 5 was still on the way after Older Scrolls 6, so it would have a sense of another studio to take reins if Microsoft wanted to continue as soon as possible to earn the success of the TV show. But reporter Bloomberg Jason Schreier responded last night and explained sharply that “Xbox did not put thousands of people to move these sources to new projects” and raise doubts about Corden's comments.

Righteningly Corden stressed that we should take what he said with a grain of salt because he did not get enough information from his sources for the whole story. Similarly, when discussing Elder Scrolls 6, Corden said he had no idea how far the development was “and that” Bethesda is quite difficult to come “. No matter what we have heard about TES6 in some time.
