Epic Games has officially revealed it Fortnite will collaborate with the hit Netflix series Stranger Things in the popular Blitz Royale game mode. Fortnite's Blitz Royale first debuted on June 18, 2025 as a limited-time event, but was later upgraded to a permanent game mode after becoming quite popular among the community. Blitz Royale puts a new spin on battle royale, pitting 32 players against each other over a smaller-than-usual map in about five minutes.
Fortnite is currently in the midst of a major collaboration with The Simpsonswhich took over the main battle royale game modes. Currently, players can experience a brand new map that intertwines Fortnitethe island with the town of Springfield. The map even adopted the animation style seen in The Simpsonsmaking the game look like a cartoon come to life. The collaboration seems to be a great success Fortniteas Epic Games said it saw a surge in new and returning players for the first time in months. It's likely that Epic Games is hoping to see similar results with the upcoming releases Stranger Things crossover.
Stranger Things is coming to Fortnite's Blitz Royale
In a recent post on Twitter, Epic Games made the announcement Stranger Things will be coming FortniteBlitz Royale game mode. While the short video that accompanied the tweet did not include any specific details, prominent Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR stated that the crossover will make its debut on November 24. Since this is not officially confirmed, it is best to take this date with a grain of salt. With the upcoming release of Season 5 on November 26th, there are rumors of a new collaboration between Fortnite and Stranger Things swirled around the internet. In fact, leakers recently claimed to have found a piece of LEGO in them FortniteFiles that hinted that Dustin's character might be coming to Battle Royale.
It's not the first time Fortnite collaborated with Stranger Thingsas players already have access to skins for Eleven, Hopper and Demogorgon. Blitz Royale seems to be an interesting space for crossovers, as Epic Games recently collaborated with Marvel and The Walking Dead in your favorite game mode.
In addition to working with major pop culture franchises, Epic Games debuted in Fortnite. Sidekicks are essentially cosmetic pets that can emote, interact with the world, and track players during a match. These pets can only be seen by the player and their teammates, meaning they cannot reveal one's position to the enemy. Unfortunately, the excitement over the new cosmetics turned into controversy when Epic Games revealed that players will have to lock down certain customization options upon purchase. This means that players looking for a little more variety may need to purchase the same Sidekick multiple times. Despite a few hiccups here and there, many fans are looking forward to what's to come Stranger Things crossover and feel optimistic about the future Fortnite.
