As a result, this list has been updated to include some of the more famous Titans, such as the Smiling Titan, the Portly Titan, and the Wall Titans, all of which are extremely terrifying in their own right.

1 The Smiling Titan (Dina Fritz)
That Uncanny Smile is stuck in fans' nightmares

An abnormal titan known as The Smiling Titan is probably one of the most iconic creatures of all Attack on Titanand for all the wrong reasons. As if her mysterious permanent smile wasn't terrifying enough, she devours Eren Yeager's mother in a disturbing and heartbreaking scene that sets the tone for the rest of the series.
The Smiling Titan is one of the few Titans in the series whose origins are completely revealed to the audience. She was originally Dina Fritz, Grisha Yeager's first wife, who was turned into a Titan by the Marleyan authorities. This means that in a cruel twist of fate, Grish's first wife ended up cannibalizing his second wife.
2 Jumping Titan

6 Gluttonous Titan

It is later confirmed that all Titans that are created with Zeke Yeager's spinal fluid are technically abnormal, as they can all function during the night and follow his specific commands. The most infamous of all his minions Gluttonous Titan is perhaps the one that audiences remember the most.
As if all the attributes of the Abnormal Titans weren't terrifying enough, the Gluttony Titan sports a pair of huge bug-sized eyes that no one would want to encounter in real life. One of the ugliest designs in the series, and even his death at the hands of the Beast Titan was incredibly gruesome.
7 Portals Titan
His disturbing demeanor was enough to make him stand out

The Gluttony Titan was infamous for aiding in the heart-wrenching murder of Miche Zacharius, but he wasn't the only Titan present on the scene. The Beast Titan piloted another Abnormal Titan to capture and intimidate the soldier known as Portals Titan among fans.
While the Gluttony Titan was unsettling due to its unique appearance, the Portly Titan stood out for its unsettling behavior as it constantly watched and observed Micheo from the corner of the building instead of approaching him directly. Plus, the Portly Titan actually ate Miche alive, which makes it even more memorable and terrifying.
8 Mother of Connie Springer
Condemned to a life of constant agony, though still sentient

While most Abnormal Titans are terrifying at the prospect of dying at their hands, this one is a completely different case at the prospect of being in his shoes. Mother of Connie Springer she was turned into a titan that couldn't move at all, so she was permanently stuck in the same position with her ribcage completely exposed.
If that wasn't creepy enough, it's important to note that Connie's mother was still capable of human speech and intelligence in this form, as she welcomed her son back to their village with real words. This means that she was aware of her suffering all this time.

With his massive size, his raw strength, and his ability to emit steam that could cause everything around him to burst into flames. It was basically a smaller version of the iconic Colossal Titan.
The The genus Reiss Titan not only is it massive and powerful, but it's probably one of the scariest monsters out there Attack on Titan. Since Rod Reiss drank the liquid while lying on the ground, his Titan form could only move by pulling and tearing his skin and muscles apart.
