The Xbox The Countdown 2025 sale has officially begun, offering a plethora of discounts on AAA games, indie games, and everything in between, including some of the biggest releases of 2025. The Xbox Countdown sale runs until January 7, 2026, but this year there are some great deals that gamers just can't afford to miss.
Starting in 2010, the Xbox Countdown sale is essentially the Xbox equivalent of the Steam Winter Sale, usually starting around December 20th and running through early January. Similar to the Steam Winter Sale, gamers can often find thousands of discounted titles included in the Xbox Countdown sale, and the 2025 sale is no different. More than 2,000 video games are included in the Xbox Countdown 2025 sale, including 10 absolute bargains.

With 90% off, Batman: Arkham Collection has been reduced from $59.99 to just $5.99, an undeniably excellent price for three critically acclaimed games and all of their respective DLC. Although there are plenty of 2025 releases included in the Xbox Countdown sale, most of them are only 20-25% off. Monster Hunter Wildson the other hand, it's a solid 45% off, bringing it down from $69.99 retail to $38.49.
