Don't spend all your tickets at once
For your first ~two rounds, if you don't have free stuff to buy, you can practically skip the store. At least on the first rides. The reason is that you won't get many tickets at firstand buying a single special coin could take most of the ticket balance you have. Tickets work not only for in-store purchases, but also for in exchange for coins when you need more.
So, keep that in mind, wait a few rounds before buying anything. In general, I usually start buying when I have at least 50 tickets.
Keep your score in mind
When you discover a ridiculous amount of coins in Raccoin, you will see it most of them have unique effects that add value to themselves or other coins. You might think that your main goal should be to have the highest value coins. This may be correct for several playstyles and contexts, but we strongly recommend it you focus on your score.
The score is the value of your score multiplierwhich means the value of your coins will be multiplied by it. This doesn't just apply to your special coins, but to all of your regular coins as well – so basically every coin on the board. It's better to have a high multiplier than individual coins with high values - although the perfect scenario is of course to have a strong balance of both.
Bullish Coin is one of the best special coins for this purpose as it increases your score by one just for being in the game.
First, buy the horizontal clip extension
When you start playing Raccoin, one of your goals should be picking up every new special coin you can. The goal is to learn all of their effects as soon as possible so that you know which ones are more suited to your playstyle. Also, this way you unlock new coins and other items.
To help you with this, you must purchase Clip Expansions. They come in two forms: vertical and horizontal. The first allows you to have multiple copies of the same coins, while the latter allows you to buy more different ones. Since you can buy a maximum of six expansions per run, and it doesn't differentiate between the two forms, you should focus on horizontal.
If a killer coin appears, buy it
Every few laps, you will get bad coins. There are many different specimens of this category and they can ruin your run effects such as destroying every coin that falls out of the machine or cutting your score in half. So you have to do something to prevent it.
That's where Killer Coins come in to play. Although there are some other coins with similar effects, the most common one is this raccoon. It will help you defeat the six Bad Coins nearby.
Remember our previous tip about not buying anything on your first shopping trip? Good, you break this rule if you can buy killer coins and store them when the time comes.
There is also a chip that will automatically remove your bad coins for one round. It's not that common though, so you should stick with the killer coin.
Enter the store quickly after each round
Each round in Raccoin is supposed to end when you reach the target score. Where the game is a bit ambiguous, however, is that you can delay the start of the next roundas the machine will continue to work and move the available coins.
We recommend avoiding it and press Enter Shop when available. You see, while all the special coins and items you have on the board will be there for the next round, you will not receive any bonus for exceeding the score*. And if the wheel spin is activated, you will be blocked from closing the wheel until the wheel has finished.
Some tokens work when you reach a percentage above the target score, but those are the only exceptions.
That's why you need to finish the round as soon as possible every time so that you can keep the coins that are about to drop for the next round and start with good points.
Infinity Squishie is the best modifier
As you play more runs you will unlock Modifiers, which are special items you attach to a special coin add a new effect. One of the best ones you'll find is called the Infinity Squishie.
WITH Infinity Squishiesyou will be able to have a special coin that always returns to your clip once it drops out of the machine it is absorbed or leaves the plate for any other reason. It basically becomes eternal, and when you have a special coin like Sun that can drastically change your board and enhance the other coins you have in the game, you'll be happy to see this one keep coming back.
Don't let The Angry Blowfish Keychain go away
Every time you go through some rounds, you get a keychainwhich gives you permanent reward for the rest of the run. There are many useful keychains like dog food that gives you unlimited autofill. But when you start the game, you should focus on Angry Blowfish.
This helpful friend will significantly increase the area of effect of their prices. It might not sound like much at first, but when you start getting a lot of prizes that gobble up all the coins in a certain area, you'll love this upgrade.
