Xbox 360 classical Dragon Age: Origins is currently available for just $1.49 on the Microsoft Digital Store. A recently launched sale, available until December 3rd, brings one of the highest-rated Xbox 360 games to its lowest price ever.
Dragon Age: Origins launched to overwhelmingly positive reviews in November 2009, winning several GOTY awards and widespread fan acclaim. Although it marked the beginning of one of BioWare's longest-running franchises, many fans still consider it the best entry in the series, citing its writing, impressive choices, and Dragon Age: Origins class among its outstanding features. By most meaningful metrics, the 2009 title is considered one of the best Xbox 360 RPGs ever made.

Dragon Age: Origins drops to an all-time low price on the Xbox Store
The Xbox 360 version of Dragon Age: Origins received a 90% discount on November 19, matching its all-time low price of $1.49. The deal runs until December 3 and is part of a wider sale that includes deep discounts on others Dragon Age games too. While the Xbox Store version Dragon Age: Origins has gone on sale more than once a quarter in recent years, 90% discounts remain rare. The last time the game dipped to $1.49 was more than a year ago, during a two-week period that began in mid-July 2024.
All deals from the current Xbox Store Series Dragon Age sale Xbox 360 can no longer be used to purchase games, but games purchased through newer consoles or Xbox.com can still be downloaded to it.
While the Microsoft Store version Dragon Age: Origins is technically an Xbox 360 title, it can no longer be purchased directly from the seventh generation console. The Xbox 360 Marketplace was officially discontinued in July 2024, prompting the game's previous 90% discount. Although users who already own the game can still download it to their Xbox 360, new purchases must be made through newer systems. However, it is still available for purchase Dragon Age: Origins through platforms such as the web version of Microsoft's store, and then download it to your Xbox 360 console.
One caveat with the ongoing sale is that it only applies to the base game. Dragon Age: Origins DLC packs that contain several long expansions such as Awakening– must be purchased separately. The same restriction applies to Dragon Age 2which can currently be picked up for $1.99, thanks to the same 90% discount.
On the contrary, both Deluxe and GOTY editions Dragon Age: Inquisition were discounted as part of an ongoing sale. All editions Dragon Age: The Veilguard they are also currently discounted. Veilguard's premium version does not contain any new story content, but the GOTY Edition Interrogation does
