original Jujutsu Kaisen the series by Gege Akutami ended in 2024 with the conclusion of the Battle of Sukuna. However, Gege is back with a sequel to the series titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Moduloand this new manga has officially reached its peak, bringing intensely exciting battles all over the world. At the moment, two great battles are raging intensely, and at the center of them are the new protagonists, Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu.
Gege Akutami intends for Tsurugi Okkotsu to become the next Maki Zenin, and Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 highlighted his incredible transformation as he fully awakened as a non-wizard. Wizards v Jujutsu Kaisen were born with cursed energy and with this energy they can use Jujutsu. Some characters, such as Sukuna, Yuta, and Gojo, have huge reserves of cursed energy. In that sense, cursed energy is a must when it comes to fighting in the world of JJK.
However, there is the concept of the sky's limit, which changes things considerably for some individuals. Most Heaven-restricted individuals do not attain any cursed energy at all, and instead reach new heights of power through their physical strength alone.. In Jujutsu Kaisen, only two characters have full Heaven's Limit so far.
- Toji Fushiguro: The first character fans saw with full Heaven's Restraint was Toji, Megumi's father, who left the Zenin Clan due to their treatment of him. Toji Fushiguro, who was known to have been born with a special body, became a terrifying Wizard Slayer and with this power, he nearly took down Gojo Satoru until he woke up. Toji's physical gift was such that even Gojo could not compete with him before awakening his cursed reversal technique.
- Maki Zenin: The second encounter of individual Heavenly Restricted fans is another Zenin named Maki. Unlike Toji, who was seemingly born with full celestial restriction, Maki had a certain amount of cursed energy for a long time in the story, even if it was a negligible amount. However, things changed for her shortly before the Culling Game arc. Since the Jujutsu world sees the twins as one being, Maki's cursed energy and Mai both had to go after her to be fully contained. As long as Mai holds the cursed energy and Mai has marks in her body, she will remain weak. With her sister's death, all of her cursed energy disappeared and she rose to the same level as Toji Fushiguro, completely destroying the Zenin clan.
Heavenly Restricted individuals without cursed energy are overpowered as seen during Maki's fight against Sukuna. Sukuna, the King of Curses, couldn't sense Maki coming because she had no energy. They are immune to most domain sure hits and her senses are enhanced to a superhuman level. The Heavenly Restricted individuals have great potential and have a steel body with a resistance like no other, as was clear from Maki taking two full black flashes from Sukuna's full power and brushing them away.

Previously, only Toji and Maki were fully Heaven-restricted when it came to the Jujutsu world. but now a third figure with a Heavenly Restriction has appeared, and it's none other than Tsurugi OkkotsuMaki and Yuta own a grandson.
Before Jujutsu Kaisen module Chapter 20, Tsurugi called upon the powers of Rika, a special grade cursed spirit previously possessed by Yuta, to aid him in his fight against Maru. as such Rika took over Tsurugi's body and they became a hybrid powerful being. With Rika's abilities, Tsurugi was able to easily push Mara in battle and even produce feats of incredible strength.

Recently, in a new chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, Rika finally failed to bond with Tsurugi and with her took all of his remaining Cursed Energy. It could now be said that Tsurugi had fulfilled his Heavenly Limitation and became another individual without cursed energy.
Tsurugi completing his Heaven's Limit has been a point of contention in the story thus far. This is especially because Toji Fushiguro was supposedly born with the condition, while Maki had a twin that kept her far from her full potential. Meanwhile, Tsurugi had little cursed energy left in him, but no apparent way to rid himself of it. However, now Gege has revealed the perfect explanation of how Tsurugi was able to reach this state thanks to Rice.
