Upcoming PC Games Releasing In 2025 Or Beyond

PC players are nowadays seeing a lot of console-exclusive ports make their way to Steam and various launchers. This is great news for anyone who’s felt like they’ve been missing out without owning a console, and it’s clear that the lines between console and PC are beginning to blur, especially concerning Microsoft and its desire to port its impressive games’ library to both ecosystems. PC Game Pass has made things even more lucrative and many series once thought console-locked forever are receiving PC versions (even if it takes a year or so to adapt them over).

Those playing games on a PC have a lot to look forward to in 2025 and beyond, with some high-profile ports, awesome-looking Indie releases, and AAA titles that are sure to look stunning on a high-end build. Here’s a look at all the titles we can expect to see on the PC by the end of the year, along with games that do not have specific release dates.

Two Point Museum, Assassin’s Creed, & More

March is typically one of the busier months since it coincides with the end of the video game fiscal year, so publishers try to get a few big games out before the deadline. Consequently, March 2025 has had quite a few notable PC games, including Two Point Museum, Split Fiction, WWE 2K25, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, The First Berserker: Khazan, AI Limit, and Rise of the Ronin. While they have not garnered equal praise, these titles are all big releases that could headline a month’s lineup on their own. Fatal Fury The Last of Us, & More

April 2025 has developed nicely, even if the month is not as stacked as either February or March. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is landing on PC, which should be a big deal since its predecessor has been available for a while. Even though it is more polarizing, the sequel is still among the best survival horror games.

Commandos: Origins should keep tactics fans entertained, while the fighting genre will be receiving one of its biggest releases of the year in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. South of Midnight also looks great, and it will be available through PC Game Pass.

PC Games Coming Out In May 2025

Doom, Elden Ring, Dune, & More

Following up on a decent but unspectacular April, May looks set to be one of the year’s biggest months yet, with several major 2025 PC games announcing release dates. Doom: The Dark Ages will land on May 15, and it will almost certainly be one of the best FPS titles of 2025. Id Software has confirmed that Doom: Dark Ages will not include multiplayer and instead focus solely on single-player.

A few days later, Dune: Awakening will land on stores like Steam, granting players a chance to survive and thrive on Arrakis. May will come to an end with one of the entire year’s most exciting projects: Elden Ring Nightreign. While a battle royale-esque multiplayer spin-off was probably not on most people’s calendars for 2025, FromSoftware has not gone wrong with Elden Ring so far.

FNAF, System Shock 2, & More

June 2025’s upcoming PC games lineup still has a ways to go before reaching its final state, but a couple of exciting prospects have been confirmed for the month. Although maybe not for everyone, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic will attract some attention, as all FNAF projects tend to do. Disney TRON: Catalyst could be fun, especially since it is being developed by the same company behind 2020’s enjoyable John Wick Hex. Finally, Nightdive’s next remaster job is among its biggest, with the team turning its attention to System Shock 2.
