The Burning Pigs is an optional side quest Divinity: Original Sin 2where players must find a cure for a group of burning pigs cursed with Necrofire by Braaccus Rex. The pigs themselves offer no clue to the location or even the nature of the drug.
Pouring water on them with Rain Spell or trying to heal them with healing spells doesn't do anything because Necrofire isn't that easy to break the curse. This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to cure burning pigs, as well as all quest rewards.

Location of Amadia's Sanctuary
The shrine of Amadia can be found south of where you find Burning Pigs. The easiest way to get to this place is to cut the vine next to Bahara (X: 474, Y: 34). The only way to get to Bahara's place is by teleportation.
Gloves of Teleportation grant the teleportation skill for free. They can be looted from the sea crocodiles on the west beach in Fort Joy.
Remove the source collar
The easiest way to get your source collar removed is to talk Leia in Amadia's Sanctuary. There are three ways Leya can remove your source collar:
-
If you save Gareth the Seeker from the Magistrates and return to Ley, he will remove the collar.
-
If you talk to Leya with Beast in your party and have him convince Duggan to help your party, Leya will remove your collar.
-
If you talk to Leya with Lohse in the group and have her sing a soothing song to her, she will take off her collar.
Regardless of which method you choose, removing the Source Collar is essential because it's the only way you can use the Bless Skill to remove the curse from the pigs.
Unlock the Bless Skill
Bless is the very first Source Skill for all characters Divinity: Original Sin 2 are unlocked when they first head to the Hall of Echoes to speak with their patron. The easiest way to enter the Hall of Echoes is by interacting with Shrine of the Seven in Hollow Marshes (X: 517, Y: 173)just east of where you find the Burning Pigs.
Using Bless on a flaming pig
After unlocking the Bless skill and removing your source collar, head to the location marker on the map “Here Are the Pigs” return to the Burning Pigs. Here you will find a Source Puddle on the ground.
Have a character with the Bless skill pass through the puddle and it will absorb it to gain a Resource Point. Now that character can use the Bless skill on the burning pig heal from Necrofire.
Healing each pig will hit you 600 XP. You only need to heal one pig to progress in the quest; the rest is optional.
The undead lizard Scapor
When you cure a pig's Necrofire, an the undead lizard Scapor will appear at your location. Here you have two options:
-
Fight and defeat Scapor (1800 XP).
-
Convince Scapor not to fight you with Wits Persuasion (3000 XP).
Scapor enters a conversation with a character who casts the Bless skill. To convince her, use a character who has invested some points in wit.
Location Feder
Feder can be found South of Hollow Marshes – Abandoned Camp Waypoint (X:576, Y:188)on the slope leading to the ice field where the winter dragon Slane is imprisoned. Feder will only appear in this location after a single pig has been healed with Bless.
After you tell her to go to Amadia's Sanctuary, you can find her near the Waypoint (X:416, Y:30).
Once Feder enters the pool, she will be instantly healed and revert to her human form, becoming a rare weapon and armor dealer in Amadia's Sanctuary. You can find her sitting on a bench by a flower pot on a wooden structure (X:450, Y:40).
If you anger Amadia's statue, it will turn into a pool of blood instead of a healing pool. Feder will die if he enters this pool.
