What fans missed Sylvia in the episode of Tbate 3
Anime adaptation Start after the end of It continues to create waves online and divides fans into its stimulation, animation and loyalty to the source material. It is clear with the release of the third episode that some important details of the Sylvie meeting with Arthur Leywin, as shown in WebComic, have not been cut.
For context, Sylvia is a mysterious being who saves Arthur Leywin after falling off the cliff while trying to save his mother from bandits. It looks like a humanoid basilisk dressed in armor armor, based on menacing vibrations. Despite her appearance, she is gentle and dignified and takes care of Arthur as if she were her own child.

While the adaptation of Anime does not provide any explanation of why Sylvia is in a narrow zone between Beast Glades and Elsshire Forest, WebComic fills gaps. According to Sylvia, no one knows about their hiding, because it constantly watches anyone who dares to approach, and Arthur has become the first of many outsiders who have ever entered her domain. The mysterious being was alone because she has no one in her life. Like Arthur, she was completely isolated and quietly hoped for a good company.
“I'm here alone because no one stayed to be.” – Sylvia
Worse, Sylvia steadily came after her many enemies and desperately wanted to get something important from her. And before Sylvia found herself in the cave slot, she fought with these enemies. She managed to escape, but the battle left her with a heavy blow in her chest. In Anime, however, Sylvia's blow almost looked like her heart rather than her wound.
As Sylvia first meets Arthur
The rapid stimulation of the episode of Tate 3 omits events that take place immediately after Arthur's fallen from the cliff. In WebComic, Arthur wakes up next to the deceased mage, who attacked him and her mother. Suddenly he will hear a dignified voice coming from Sylvia, but refuses to follow it until he reveals that he is the only one who can take him home to his family. After reaching the cave, Arthur initially thinks that Sylvia is a receptive cluster of rocks. It is also naturally appalled when he saw Sylvi's form that has another design in the adaptation of the anime.
Why Sylvia saves Arthur over the bandit mage
In Episode 3, many intimate conversations between Sylvia and Arthur are overlooked, including the reason for the mysterious being to save Arthur instead of the deceased mage. As it turned out, Sylvia is deeply moved by Arthur's courage and victims to protect her mother at the cost of her life. He also reveals that he is probably looking for society after she felt so lonely, even if she never fully understands the reason for her actions.
Why Sylvia dies
Before Cadell attacks Sylvia in the cave, he is on the verge of death, unlike what the anime shows. In the webcomia, Sylvia wanders quickly, the more he spends his strength and energy to create a portal that would take Arthur home. He basically sacrifices that Arthur can meet his family.
“My last battle with my enemies before I was able to escape, left me with this shot.” – Sylvia
To complete the portal, Sylvia will turn into her dragon forms, although she knew her enemies, including Cadell, would be able to watch her shelter as soon as she was transformed. On the other hand, Cadell, on the other hand, wants something from Sylvie as most likely it is a mysterious stone or egg that she handed over to Arthur before they broke up.
Sylvia wants Arthur to call her grandmother
At the end of the third episode, Arthur is the one who decides to call Sylvia a “grandmother”, but in WebComic it is Sylvia, which requires Arthur to call her grandmother once. It's a small detail, but the anime switches them a bit. At first, Arthur refuses to give up Sylvia's wishes and hopes to go through the portal together. Sylvia, however, says goodbye to Arthur and promotes it through the portal. At that moment, Arthur understands what Sylvia wants to hear from him, and for the first time and last, she calls her a “grandmother”, and eventually grants her final wish.
“When a fearsome figure left in dark armor, I couldn't help myself, but to think lonely appeared.” – Arthur Leywin
All in all, rushing stimulation Start after the end of Episode 3 overlooks the key details of Sylvia and its relationship with Arthur, which viewers must only know for anime to gain a deeper understanding of what is really happening. It would be better if these events were adapted to at least two episodes to provide more context.
