Cryo Archive is the latest map to arrive Marathon in the second half of March. The new Cryo Archive map takes place on board the UESC Marathon and promises to be exciting, dangerous and extremely memorable. Cryo Archive will not be for the faint of heart, so players should practice now before embarking on their most challenging raid yet.

What is Cryo Archive in Marathon?
Cryo Archive is map of the first end of the game arrive at the Marathon. In Cryo Archive, players can expect an “endgame” style map where it's recommended to bring your best gear simply for the sake of it puzzles, danger and loot that are waiting inside.
While Bungie is tight-lipped about what's in store for Cryo Archive, they've promised that you'll have to “solve security puzzles, unseal frozen vaults and come face to face with an entity even the UESC fears.“
When will the Cryo Archive be released in Marathon?
The Cryo Archive is locked behind community involvement and as such the map will not be unlocked until “the community unlocks the path to orbit“. Bungie has said that Cryo Archive will be released in the second half of March, but the exact date remains unknown.
For now, players should focus on getting loot across the Perimeter, Dire Marsh, and Outpost and prepare for the end zone, which will challenge their knowledge Marathon and beyond.
