How to get Mask of Sorrow in Resident Evil Village
After escaping the bedroom, you'll get the Moon Eye Ring as you proceed through the iron door. Use the maroon eye ring to inspect it in key items and examine the eye to pull it out of the slot. Now, with the Maroon Eye in your possession, head up the main hall to the south and open the prioress door.
You will be pursued by one of Lady Dimitrescu's daughters, but continue left into the locker room and drop down into the hole where you can venture through the Tasting Room and into the Hall of War. From inside, shoot the fire pit into the two unlit borders and continue past the Chamber of Solace.
After avoiding the enemies and Lady Dimitrescu's daughter, you will be attacked in the kitchen. You can kill Bela by exposing her to cold air near a broken window and then shooting her. Continue deeper with her death into the kitchen and collect the Sanguis Virginis wine in the blood reservoir.
Now with Sanguis Virginis in your key things, head to the wine bar in the Main Hall (2F) and place the Sanguis Virginis on the silver flower standwhich reveals a secret room that provides you Yard key from the chest of trinkets.
Unlock the courtyard with Courtyard Key by going to the dining roomeast of the main hall (1F). From the courtyard, go to the southeast room and go up the stairs to where you get to enter the Hall of Ablutions:

Resident Evil Village's morbid Hall of Ablution puzzle is sure to stump some players, but this guide will help you continue your journey to rescue Rose.
Enter through the wine cellars into the drained hatch that will be revealed after solving the Hall of Ablution, then activate the lever in the southeast room of the Distillery. This will take you to Dimitresco's chamber where you can look on the southwest wall and pick up Dimitresco's key.
Enter the door and pull the lever in the new room you were thrown into. Even after losing your hand, you will have to pull the lever again and avoid Lady Dimitrescu while you wait for the door to rise. After entering, open the door with Dimitresco's key and pick up the mask of sorrow.
How to get Mask of Joy in Resident Evil Village
With the Mask of Sorrow obtained, you will be taken back to the courtyard by the elevator. In the Courtyard, open the north door with Dimitresk's keyand go up the stairs get to the opera house (1F). Find the piano and complete the puzzle by matching the piano keys with the notes get the Iron Insignia Key.
With the iron key Insignia, return to the Opera Hall (2F) and unlock the southwest door. This will take you to the Library where you will be confronted by another of Lady Dimitrescu's daughters. You can kill her by activating the lever in the gazebo in the middle to reveal the cold air and then shoot her.
You can now enter the Hall of Joy through the west door of the Library pick up the Mask of Joyand your third Angel Mask is just one door away, so don't move from that spot.
How to get Rage Mask in Resident Evil Village
From the Hall of Joy (west of the library on 2F) you can enter the west room to find the Studio. In the Atelier you are obliged fire 5 bells. open the secret door that unlocks through the painting of Lady Dimitrescu. You will be find a ladder inside that will take you to the atticand then through on the roofs.
Continue across the rooftops along the linear path forward where you'll eventually come across a zipline in the bell towerheading west to the Tower of Rage. Take the zipline and pick up the rage maskthen turn to take the ladder downwhere you can take the elevator back to 1F Dimitrescu Castle.
How to get the Mask of Pleasure in Resident Evil Village
After returning to Dimitrescu Castle 1F, head to the main hall and head up to the southern area where you will enter the Prioress door againwhere you first met one of Lady Dimitrescu's daughters. Inside, head south and unlock the door with Dimitresco's key and pick up the mask of pleasure in the hall of pleasure. However, you will find yourself locked in a room.
Continue west to the armoryand immediately grab the Pipe Bombs on the north table. Now avoid Lady Dimitrescu's daughter's attacks and move the shelf blocking the south wall. Pipe bomb him at the crumbling wall to reveal cold air, and now kill the last of Lady Dimitrescu's daughters.
In the Armory, look on the west wall to find a Mounted Animal Skull. From your key items, examine the skull of the mounted animal and look at the back turn the object into an animal skull. With this, return to the Hall of Pleasure and place the animal skull in the slot where you picked up the pleasure mask.
This will unlock the door back the way you came, allowing you to return to the main hall and enter the Hall of Four to complete the puzzle. However, at this point you should probably visit the merchant's room and create a save or sell/buy some items to prepare for the fight ahead.
How to solve the Hall of Four Masks puzzle in Resident Evil Village
Within Hall of Fouryou'll see four distinct statues, all with empty busts and a plaque to read that tells you where the angel mask goes.
Keep in mind that Lady Dimitrescu will be hunting you and can find you in the Hall of Four, so you'll want to be quick. As such, we will provide you with the correct solution to the Hall of Four Angel Masks puzzle:
- Mask of Sorrow goes in the front left bust (“The Angel of Sorrow weeps alone in a deep, dark place.“)
- The mask of pleasure goes to the back left bust (“The Angel of Pleasure appreciates art best kept behind gilded doors.“)
- Mask of Rage goes in the front right bust (“The angel of wrath looks down in rage from on high.”)
- The mask of joy goes to the back right bust (“The appearance of an angel of fortune looks on, words of wisdom at her side.“)
Once all the Angel Masks are properly on, the door will unlock and allow you to proceed. You can enter the building ahead and open the coffin, but if you pick up the item, you'll be locked out of Dimitrescu Castle forever, so only continue if you're ready to finish this chapter.
